Lots of chirping on twitter about özil to Manchester United agreed at £38M. I hope this one is true!

I would love for it to be true. I can't see it happening though. If he was offered to us we would be silly to not get him.

Sorry but its a case of lost in translation, it says he has been offered at that price not that we have bid. If on twitter check Raphael Honigstein, usually reliable.

I know business is business, but if it is true, for once let's just pay the asking price. My optimism has started to waiver in recent weeks, but if we could get Ozil, Fellaini, and baines it would go someway to restoring my faith in mr Woodward, at least for another season. I can only hope that they now see where all this penny pinching is getting them. No I really don't believe that they're doing it not to buy anyone, as some posters have suggested, but I think the glazers are more interested in reducing their debt than investing in the squad. Now I don't wish for a sugar daddy owner, but owners who actually care about the football club, and not just about making money. I'm sorry for the depressing tone of this post, but I feel I needed to get it off my chest.
