I really can't believe some of the utter dross I am reading on this site. I was actually at the game today and let me tell you that I can't remember we went to Anfield and had so much possession. Yes ok we conceded a goal because Ferdinand is a coward always has been always will be I have said it loads of times he will never put his head anywhere near a collision. I thought we came out in the second half picked up the tempo and took the game to them. Gerrard was invisible in the second half because he couldn't get on the ball. I think we held the ball well and on another day we could have scored 3 or 4 and definitely would have got a penalty when Welbeck was brought down in the area. You all know if that was outside the box the ref would have given us a free kick. As for not creating chances immediately after they had scored an opportunity fell to RVP for an overhead kick which he hit over the bar.

Of course I have concerns but they are the same that I have been slaughtered for all year when you lot accused me of just being miserable when now you are all just repeating what I said. I am worried that we have a player who twice was twice footballer of the year at his club and yet can't get an opportunity at our club even though he is obviously the most creative player we have.

But we have Moyes as manager what did you lot really expect. Like Everton he has made us a very hard team to beat and who will not push too much forward as to leave themselves vulnerable at the back.

I for one thought that the boys gave their best for the shirt today and it just wasn't their day let's face it I have been to Anfield loads of times watching Fergies teams and we have been hammered. You know I think City have bought well and have a good manager did they look convincing against the football powerhouse that is Hull? No.

We will spank Palace in 2 Weeks and you lot will suddenly be saying all our problems are solved and we are great. Why not just be realistic and check what I have been saying for years. We are now reaping the rewards of Owners who have not re invested money back into the club and have relied on a wonderful manager who won things in spite of them not because of them.

Agree we had a lot of possession in the second half but what did we do? Absolutely nothing in the 3rd part the field!
The reason Moyes is getting so much stick is because of his team selection, leaving Kagawa out of the squad!
We can hammer palace 10 nil and it won't make no difference!
We won't be able t get out the group stages of Europe without playing more creative players!

Kloot
It really is you against the world.

Our lack of creativity and idea's today was shocking, at times we looked a well organized workman like team. In fact add fellaini and some light blue shirts and we could of been watching Everton

You know its gone terribly negative when KLOOT needs to bring back some positivity.

Top, top post mate!

4.) 01 Sep 2013
Never thought i'd see the day where Kloot is the voice of reason

5.) 01 Sep 2013
Bang on kloot most sensible post of the day and I never thought I'd say that about one of yours.

Totally agree really as re recent posts! As for the game I agree also. I could not be bothered replying to the other txt about the game because its what I expected if we lost. I hought we had the whole of the second half and large parts of the first. Very poor defending to give away the corner and then poor defending for it.

I, like you Kloot hate the Glazers, but since 2008 when we bought Anderson and Hargreaves for nearly £35M conbined we have not signed a single central midfield player. Since then we have spent Approx £200 Million, and still not adressed the midfield issue. Cannot blame player choice on the Glazers.

I kind of agree with you about our performance today, I thought first half we were poor, but second half Liverpool barely had a chance, if we had had that killer ball from midfield we probably would have won. I think the penalty should have been given, and we were unlucky throughout the second half with the chances we had. Liverpool are always a tough team to beat at anfield, so let's not get too down, just remember how many seasons we have been slow starters and still won the league, I for one am quite positive about our start this year. We hammered Swansea, definitely should have beaten chelski, and were unlucky today.

Kloot, you've spent all summer complaining we have Moyes as manager and that Cleverley/Welbeck are in the team.

Now, all of a sudden you're defending what was a dreadful performance and saying how everything will be fine under Moyes?

And you're right, Ferdinand should of jumped in the way for the goal, but chance should never have been created for them to score, we were so open from a corner its unreal.

Great post and agree with you that we were by far the better side today. We are going to be very difficult to beat when Moyes has built his team. I just hope we do not rely too much on RvP to get the goals.

11.) 01 Sep 2013
You can blame being limited in choice of who you can buy on them.

12.) 01 Sep 2013
At least there is someone else who has a similar view to me on todays games.

I was impressed with how well we played against the Scousers and I think we deserved a win or at least a draw.

We just need that little bit of creativity in the middle (Kagawa) and a little bit of steel which we hopefully get tomorrow!

It's not the end of the world guys, the support was fantastic and the players gave their all.

Top post KLOOT!

We looked like a league 2 side defensivley. Midfield we well held our own but in the attacking third we did nothing and ya we bosses possesion but WHAT DID WE ACTUALLY CREATE? Midfieder fast Mr Moyes r u will lose your supporters even b4 u startn

14.) 01 Sep 2013
Feeling so positive kloot, so what did you think of the brand today?

15.) 01 Sep 2013
United looked average today, organized and workman like .
Lacking that bit of something special

16.) 01 Sep 2013
We were rubbish and for players who earn a minimum 50,000 a week, it is pathetic we can not put a final ball into the box which gives the strikers a chance. Cleverly, Welbeck, Giggs would not get into a top 8 side in the pl.

Hopeless and you guys can all talk it up as you want but never watched a game where I thought there is no way we are going to score.

We need an immediate solution to finding carrick a couple of midifielders who can pass, run, dribble and occasionally shoot the stuff a decent midfielders is suppose to do!
