Regardless of what you think of tom cleverly, the petition to keep him out of the World Cup squad is disgraceful. I really feel sorry for the lad, he might not be setting the world alight, but he's done nothing to warrant this abuse he's got over the last 6 months.

{Ed007's Note - It's absolutely disgusting Jase. I'm far from being a Cleverley fan but things like that are just wrong. Any Utd fan signing something like that should be ashamed of themselves. On a lighter note have you seen the Arsenal's fans petition?

Shocking footballer but he doesn't deserve this terrible abuse.

Totally agree. Support any player who is giving 100%. Regardless of who he plays for.

Again I'm certainly not his biggest fan but he is and should remain a squad player. Like welbeck and the other homegrown players who can perform in the premier league and internationally. I remember the odd occasion when people like p Neville, even wes brown and butt would get a bit of stick from time to time. The petition is ridiculous and probably just more anti united more than anything. Our club is all the more stronger and has more depth due to the fact that we have these homegrown players around the squad. There's nothing more disappointing in my view than when another one is released or sold for whatever reason.

Completely agree, disgraceful. Yes he's not a good footballer, but this kind of slating he's getting really isn't fair.

It's not even his fault he was picked!

Im one of his biggest critics at United but this is a disgrace. Its small minded bullying. Also I think he actually plays ok for England.
