Just have to say, this has to be the final nail in the coffin for Giggs campaign to be manager. He reckons United don't need to spend and this squad can win it next year. Rose tinted glasses I suspect.

What do you want him to do? Come out and say I have a rubbish squad and I want to buy a whole lot of players to rebuild, and Ferguson would struggle with this squad A La Moyes?

The players are suffering from a bad season. No need to kick them when they are down, especially from their manager.

I agree 100%.

Add quality at LB and to replace Vidic - my preference would be Hummels - plus 1 or 2 in the middle - most likely Strootman plus one - and that one needs to be the star signing.

If Woodward can pull that off it will be amazing and expensive - it's not fantasy football (although my Vino Paraletico are top of the league!

Also if we sign Hummels unlikley we get Reus too - Dortmund aren't running a car boot sale - not without giving up Kagawa.

Quality not quantity - the squad has a lot more upside than downside.

Besides Vidic leaving - everyone else stays until the new manager says otherwise.

We will compete next year. Looking forward to it.

Why do people listen to what manager's say so much? What do you expect Giggs to say, we need a overhaul because the players aren't good enough? He isn't going to say that. We know there is going to be a massive spend this summer despite what any manager says.

Those memories of Stevie G passing to Ba and Suarez crying will just have to be enough for this season Plymouth. Still we've had our fill at the top table for 20+ years while Liverpool had the longest run of 'transitional' seasons known to man.

I think every once in a while we will let you finish above us. This was your year. Hope enjoyed the novelty of it ;)

Don't be a fool by a decent performance against a team at home who are not that motivated. This team has failed every time it has had a must win game this year to close the gap or make a season out of it. just not good enough. Buttner as left back, Young left winger, valencia right winger, the brand in midfield and Jones as CB, must be joking. 5 new players needed urgently.
