Not commented on the Suarez incident as of yet, mainly because I'm in shock he has been crazy enough to do it yet again. I turned over from England to watch the last half hour of the Italy/Uruguay game as I was truly bored with England. He must have some serious mental issues to continually do this and he needs proper medical help to work out what his mental problem is. Biting someone for, pretty much, no reason hints at some serious issues, as any normal person wouldn't even think to do it in these situations. It's not even something the vast majority of young children do when they are agitated, so for a grown man to do it is truly shocking.

The punishment can't be just about a huge ban, he must be made to go to proper psychological examinations and treatment for a sustained period, to help the guy. I, personally, would give him a world wide ban for 12 months and make him go for treatment for the whole time. If, the people treating him say he has responded to the treatment, then after 12 months he is free to carry on his career. He has an illness and it needs sorting now as he will do it again if not.

I just don't get it. The commentator for the English game said their had been an incident in the other game, changed the channel and heard the word bite and thought, no way. But, yes it was Suarez again.

This is a player who had worked hard to get fit for the world cup, scored two in his first game, and was poised to finally get his dream move to Spain. So what does he do? Bites another player, for no reason, at the world's biggest tournament, of course.

So now he's going to get another big ban, he's probably scuppered his transfer hopes, and his country's chances in the world cup. I know that he got Liverpool CL football for next season, but I wonder if they are wishing that they cashed in on him last season.

Crazy or just dumb?

How about that Norwegian than won £1600 on Suarez biting someone!

He needs a 12 month ban at least from all football, longer. If you are an opponent you could almost understand them not playing against him, he is an animal and previous punishments have not deterred him. I bet clubs are thinking about launching legal issues about exposing their players to such a messed up guy.

He may not be the brightest, I don't know him so can't comment, but bighting isn't an act of someone dim, it is an act of someone with serious issues. He needs help for his own good and that of his fellow professionals. A large ban is also needed and it needs to be all football not just internationals as that is only a small part of a footballers season.

On a plus note, if he gets a big bam maybe Madrid/Barca will go all out for Aguero :-) I hope so.

His shoulder hit me in the chest and he hit my eye too! (Then he held his teeth) These things happen, people make too much of it! Yes, Suarez really does have mental issues.

Suarez is a disgrace but them pool boys will support him no matter what.
He is their best chance to win something in years.
Hopefully he gets banned for his actions and justice is served
