Afternoon all

Finally good news that we have signed a creative midfielder! Fingers crossed he will be great for many years to come.

What I'm struggling to understand is, why are people desperate to buy another midfielder to partner him?. personally I think we already have the perfect solution in Carrick! Admittedly Carrick was average last season, but he was effectively the only quality we had in the midfield last year and left with the impossible task of doing all alone.

For me the defence is now a major priority and we are very weak at CB and as discussed LB.

Carrick is almost 33 and too slow . We need someone with energy and aggression to in there

Carrick he is dross . I love the sincerity in your post. Like you believe carrick can still cut it at top level. He can't

Carrick has looked better than he is because he was the best of a bad bunch, he needs replacing with quality.
