Hi guys, just thought I'd add in my opinion on the kane talk. I rate him highly, but not high enough to pay 40 million, it's because he's English his prince is hugely inflated. He's got all the tools to be a super player, but with a huge price tag, and the added pressure of being a united player, that could get to him and he could flop, I'd like him to have another season in the premier league with spurs to see how he does, then we should decide to go for him! But personally I'd rather we sign Lewandoski, the man is the complete article, he scored a great hat trick yesterday all be it against Georgia. But every time I watch him the way he creates chances in the box for himself is ridiculous, he is without doubt one of the best strikers in the world. I feel he is the man we should be targeting. My opinion of course, what does everyone else think?

Completely agree, Kane could be up there with lewandowski one day but as you said he's only had one good season and with all respect to spurs there's a lot more pressure playing for us. It would be wiser to pay a similar amount on lewandowski

I would love United to sign Kane, but I wouldn't want them to pay any more than £30m. For £40-50m we could sign one of Lewandowski, Benzema, Higuain, or Cavani, or for £30m we could sign one of Falcao, Lacazette or Benteke. So basically for the £40-50m Kane would cost, we could get a better player, or for £10-20m less than Kane would cost, we could sign an equally good player. Give Kane another season at Spurs, if he scores another 30+ goals, then pay the £40-50m to sign him.

Need to keep in mind the need for keeping the amount of foreign players in check. Plus Kane would prove to be a good investment at £40m, 4m per year if we kept him 10 yrs, compared with 10m maybe more per year for a lewandowski or cavani. It's not like he'll leave Spurs anyway so it's a moo point.
