hey eds, just a quick thanks for all the good work, big fan of the site. I was just wondering how long it takes (roughly) for a transfer to be worked out? With time running out until the window closes it's a bit worrying to see a lack of any activity from Utd, especiially when most people agree that we need to make at least 1/2 more signings. Basically, do you expect Man U to bring in anyone in the next few days? Are we being secretive or just done for the window?

{Ed007's Note - There's no time scale for transfers, some can be done in a couple of hours and some can take months. I'd be surprised if Utd don't make 1 or 2 signings by the end of the window.}

I think we keeping our cards close to our chest and if any deals are done, they will, IMO, be last minuted.com deals.

Who.is to say deals are not being worked on. we have been keeping quiet all summer on deals so it does not mean they are not in the pipeline.
It is crazy to think Woodward will wake up on Tuesday and start the process!!

cheers ed. and brad yeah that's what i meant - are they in the pipeline; just a little bit of nervousness about how quiet it has gone. Hopefully woodward has been taking tips from david gill!!!
