Such a shame that instead of focusing on winning the cup and the incredible spirit shown to win it with 10 men, all the talk is of the Manager change.

I think we need to be careful what we wish for. Football has been dire under LVG, but I really don't see Jose delivering fast attacking football. I also worry how many of the youngsters will get a look in. If Ibra comes does that mean Rashford is dropped?

The majority of fans seem to want to Jose so I find myself in the minority - he is not right for our club and I fear how much da, age he will do. Think of the Chelsea team and you think of a sneering arrogant horrible team. Guess when that started. He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy. Perhaps his time away has allowed him to reflect and consider his approach, I fear not.

Ah yes, I hear you say, but we will win things. Maybe, but at what cost?

Tony

The way the new is coming out is quite poor and odd to say the least. I will wait and see what happens on the pitch before having a view on Jose. I think Chelsea as a club is very different to us and some of the things that goes on there is never our thing.

My preference has always been pep but after him i will take jose. I really believe we might see a long term tenure with him that wins us a lot of trophies and he might surprise people and be very different as our manager.

I have no doubts we will be better with him next year.

Greetings Tony! How have you been old friend? I get what you are saying, however as it has been said time and again, ask our rivals what do they think about Fergie? The answers won't be much different. Mou will bring in te fear factor and that sheer wining mentality. How many serial winners do we have in the team? I am not sure how does it look long term, but I know there isent a better man manager. The siege mentality he creates is second to none. I just want teams to be scared of us, it looks so unfamiliar looking at the likes of Norwich enjoying theme selves at OT. Anyway, he is the bitter pill we need and their is no 2 ways about it.

How are you Jred my friend?

Deeps.

AJH he failed at 1 club for 6 months in career spanning 16 years, and frankly people need to stop with mourinho is a very defensive coach, in his 3 seasons at madrid his madrid team out scored barcelona in 2 of those seasons, if that isn't enough in his 5 full seasons at chelsea his team outscored us 3 times, with 1 year both of us scoring same no of goals.

Also please tell me what sort of damage did he do chelsea, he fell out with some staff and players it's not as if managers never fall out with players or staff. His behavior sometimes has been despicable eye gouging an opponent, his antic in regard to the whole carneiro episode, but what i never understand is why he gets judged by a different yardstick than everyone else, if eye gouging is bad so is throwing boots at your players, we never hear anyone saying anything about that now we. He calls wenger a specialist is failure and everyone cringes, remember the 15 year old kid from ivory coast, that fergie compared wenger to, never heard anyone cringe to that. We are manchester united, we should be last ones to complain about people's crazy antics that might hurt our image, our captain and his love for grannies is well known, one of the most memorable moments that cantona had at utd was kung fu kicking a fan, our other legend who is currently our coach is known to love everybody's wife but his, maybe we should look at that first before dishing mourinho.

I agree with u that Mourinho is not a messiah, he is a risk like anyone else, but he is a risk worth taking. We are UTD, for last 3 years first under moyes then van gaal we were the laughing stock of the league, be it annual transfer deadline day escapades, or how we were going to make it difficult for newcastle, or how fans are living in the past and how we are not realistic with our expectations. With Mourinho we will have the fear factor back, that is something we have been missing for 3 years.

CSM I have said the same a couple of times.
Fergie has done many things worse than Jose as has Keane cantona Rooney and giggs
But we all had our red glasses on
Jose is not perfect by any means but who is and who was? Nobody.
I hope we go back to it being us against the world. That's the way Fergie had it and the world stood up and took notice.
Jose will do well I hope for a long period but that remains to be seen.
