He really does look like a very good player. The problem for the next generation is that they will always be up against the numbers of goals trophies and brilliance of Messi and ronaldo and i'm not sure we will see the likes of ronaldos goals per game ratio at real madrid ever again.
Or the sustained brilliance of Messi for 10 or 12 years.
There is quite a large group of really talented 18 to 22 year olds i wonder who well step up from that group to become the new worlds "best" player.

How do Messi and Ronaldo substain roughly a goal a game average, has it got easier, is the protection from career ending tackles a reason, because when I was a kid a goal every two games was world class.

They scoring stats are simply phenomenal IDLLK.
for sure the pitchesare better and they get more protection but these 2 guys are simply unbelievable. Everybody nowadays had the same conditions but those 2 are standout by a mile so its not just the protection they get.
