Just to give you guys hope, Klopp took over LFC in Oct 2015 after Brendon managed just ( you guessed it) 8pts by match week 6.

So a top modern thinking manager ( no dinosaurs) .

A coherent recruitment strategy.

Players who work for the team .

With in 4yrs 4 European finals (two wins ) and the 3rd highest points total in English top tier football history.

So it can be done.

Spot on mate. Only difference is that klopp had a much bigger reputation than ole so he got a lot more breathing space to make changes.

I did say top manager not the former Cardiff, molde? manager. Sorry but the spoilt brats won't respect that cv.

Hopefully he gets a chance to we see whether or not he can be a top level coach is what I mean (don’t think anyone could produce consistent good results with this squad) but not enough fans will show him the patience because he’s not managed any other top club is what I mean mate.

4.) 23 Sep 2019 20:24:01
What do you get for the 3rd highest total in history?

5.) 23 Sep 2019 20:52:14

But I enjoyed the ride👍.

True enough Caolan, but the support from fsg has been immense.

Klopps first match included migs, clyne, skrtle, Moreno, sarko and Origi as starters.

Agreed shappy, if Madison (many posters on here's wet dream) is worth the 80 mill you all seem to think, how is PP worth more.

Madison's English, younger, works harder, talented and seems a really good guy (see the articles regarding the poor young lass that died, and his brutal putdown of the sun comic) .

Bet Leicester wouldn't do a swap.

Whilst I get there has been massive inflationary pressures on transfer prices over the last few years, has PP done anything to warrant the huge windfall your expecting .

Poor workrate and attitude sprinkled with a bit of flair (on the pitch and hair salon) and a load of flashy penalties.

Can't help but think the big clubs will look at his time with MUFC and price him accordingly, if you got offered what you paid for him you should bite their hands off just to be shut of him.

But Salford it wasn't a crunching 50/ 50 challenge, it was a cynical trip designed to stop play, take a yellow for the team and allow the spurs defense to regroup.

I'm sure he never thought of the horrid outcome to his actions, but with the proximity of Aurior he really didn't need to do it.

Ken's right it's cheating, should be a sin bin job, same as diving.

This is the same arrogance LFC fans had before we played you lot.

They're only 3pts behind you, having played three of the current top four (beating city) and the only team they've played lower in the league than you is NUFC who they beat.

Pukki can score goals for fun and you rarely score more than one, banana skin after euro night on Thursday, draw for me 1_1.

Forgot to say it was a great post DLIB, as much as I'm enjoying your clubs struggles I'm trying not to gloat, I'm just fascinated how it can go so wrong for one of the biggest clubs in the world so quickly.

That said how Fergie won his last prem title with that squad I've no idea, the rot had set in well before then regarding recruitment.

{Ed047's Note - because we were stupid enough to see them RVP

DLIB if you check out transfer market . co. uk you'll find MU have spent over 4 times more than LFC over the last five yrs, that timeframe covers all of klopps rebuild.

Only city have outspent you over 5/ 10 yrs (not by that much) (how with ffp regs I've no idea) .

Despite this expenditure I'd only take AWB and young James purely for rotational reasons from your squad. Wheres the money gone?

Historically the team that spends the most wins and so on down the league, yet you're 3 to 6 players short according to fans/ pundits, quality strikers are 100mill plus (you need two) , quality AM and CMs are pushing 100mill (you need two) .

Your recent positive financial report (low profits high turnover)
was for the last year you were in the CL, with a warning about a expected drop in the next statement due to no CL this season, there's little chance for next season either which reports say will kick in penalties from addidas.

How you going to spend 400 to 450mill?
