I think I'm speaking on behalf of nearly EVERY United fan here. Pure and simple, Kagawa MUST stay beyond the summer. He is far, far too good to let go of. Can somebody set up an account for Mr. Moyes please? I for one will be absolutely gutted if we were to let Shinji go, or use him as bait for any other Dortmund player, even Reus! Ed's, do any of you know what the future prospects are looking like for Kagawa, and can you please give us some good news regarding the issue?

{Ed002's Note - I can tell you that there is interest from Inter and that Manchester United would be willing to let him leave.}

I wouldn't be surprised if this happened and it would be an absolute disgrace if it does.
After a few game into the season, Moyes came out and said he had never heard or seen Kagawa before, or how good he was.
Now I will admit I seen him only a few times while he was at Dortmund, but I obviously read the paper and also watched the season he played for us last year. Instantly you can tell his technique is class along with his movement, plus you don't become the German league footballer for nothing!
His best position we all know is behind the striker but of course he won't really get a look in there, he's in the same position at Mata with that one.

Completey dissagree, if it meant a swap for somebody like Marco Reus I would swap him in a hearbeat.

This is another example of Fergie's poor decisions in the transfer market. Obviously he has had some phenominal successes in the transfer market but some decisions have been very poor. E.G. spending £12-15Mill on Kagawa only to buy RVP in the same summer and hence ensure Kagawa will almost never play in his best position. Also I don't think Fergie understood Kagawa and what made him a star in Germany. similar to Moyes. Kagawa shone in a system that suited him down to the ground. Klopp employed a high speed, high intensity system with super quick transitions.Kagawa is superb in transitioning from defence to attack at speed, turning with the ball and playing to multiple quick attackers on the break.
95% of the time we don't play like that so he couldn't play the same way. The slower style we have played for 2 seasons has not suited him, let alone the fact he's started most of those games on the left wing where he has less of an impact anyway.

Anyway, for Shinji's sake I hope he goes back to Dortmund. We'll be losing a superb player but he's too far down the pecking order at No.10 to keep him. It's sad we couldn't have kept him and built the attack around him more.

I'd let him go too he's had 4 or 5 ok games and 2 good ones only.

No you aren't speaking on behalf of every Manchester United fan, i'm a big admirer of kagawa, he's technically brilliant with an eye for a pass but he hasn't done anything other than have a few good games this year, his chances have been limited by moyes but he's still had plenty of chances and for every good game he's had there's another one were he's gone completely missing threw the game and been brought off in second half. the way some fans bang on about him you would think when he has had his chances he's been unplayable, sorry but a few nice touches and passes does not warrant such high praise. if dortmund would sell us reus as long as they could have kagawa as part of the deal then its a no brainer.

As opposed to Fellaini, Cleverley as so on having 0 OK or good games? I'm assuming you only watch the occasional game that's on TV as to even suggest that a good option for the club is to let him go.

For me, if given a run, he will be as influential, if not more, than Juan Mata! The guy won Player of the year in Germany 2 years running before we signed him, in the same league as Reus, Gundogan, Gotze, Muller, Ribery (3rd in Ballon D'or), Robben, Kroos and so on. To sell him would be scandalous!

If this news on Carvalho is true, and we were to invest in a Kroos, Reus or any other quality midfield/forward, we also need to keep our other quality players who would compliment those kind of additions so well! Shinji certainly is one of them! But then again, we could sell him and revert back to 4-4-2 and keep going backwards. I'm sorry, but selling Shinji is plain wrong!

7.) 15 Apr 2014
Well you assume wrong, as I stated i'm a big fan of kagawa and i'd rather keep him but if we could get reus coming this way then its a no brainer, you can't keep reverting back to his dortmund form, do you think jose thinks torres is going to rekindle the kinda form which saw him finish 3rd in the ballon d'or in 2008, I highly doubt it. its all well and good hero worshipping a good player but he's got to start delivering and living up to his reputation at some point.

8.) 15 Apr 2014
It's also worth considering that if we were to go for and get Klopp as new manager (whatever you may think of him) he my well want to keep hold of Kagawa as he seemed to know how to get the best out of him while he was at Dortmund.

9.) 15 Apr 2014
I would not be against us using kagawa as part of a trade but I would be against us just selling him as there is at least 10 players who should be shipped out before kagawa

Your not speaking for me i'd pay his flight home
