A few journalists saying barca and chelsea close to agreeing a deal for fabregas. A midfield 3 of matic fabregas and oscar with costa up hazard and Willian either side would walk the league for chelsea IMO. Guillem balague who's a bit hit and miss says that he will take his time over choosing a club. I still think he will be replacing toure at city though.

M E N today reporting that City have signed Fernando from Porto, if this is true, I doubt very much that City would go in for Fabregas, especially with the FFP restrictions.

Ryan, I don't think GB is hit and miss. He will know before anyone else whether or not Cesc has signed for someone. He doesn't comment on things he doesn't know about. He only comments on Spanish players or players leaving or going to Spanish teams. He has some impeccable sources in Spain. He has said that there is no agreement between Chelsea and Fabregas. The editor has also said that there has been no interest from Chelsea in Cesc. That could always change, but I'd be surprised. Unless Arsenal, MU & City have turned their noses up at him and he's running low on options in the EPL.

I don't see Fabregas at City. Arsenal or us is where I envisage him going if I am honest.

I personally see Fabregas as a brilliant option and if we build a team that has plenty of movement ahead of him he will be raking up the assists and will be getting a fair few goals. I'd love to see him link up with RVP again, as well as Mata.

I put money on Fabregas to join City yesterday, got 12/1. He's now 6/4 - happy with that!

Does everyone think Cesc is the €37 million Euro signing we need?
I'd rather get a solid DM alongside Kroos if we can make that happen than pay all that for Fab

Alongside kroos who we are not getting?

8.) 02 Jun 2014
Mewling I say if we can make that happen, don't think Cesc is worth the money required to get him when we have so many other positions that require improvements than another No.10,

Cesc and kroos are two completely different players, incomparable in so many ways.
I'd rather take cesc, he knows he league, his wages would be 100k a week less than what we reportably were offering kroos (which was a rediculous amount!), he can also play 3 positions comfortably.
