More reports coming out that sheikh Jasem might be the winning bid. Quite common to get some formal statement after NYSE closes either today or tomm if its true.

lets hope we get an announcement either way.

The journalist who has broke it, is extremely reputable. Reuters is a very good outlet, so I'd be more inclined to believe him/ them over some of the others who are claiming to be 'in the know.

I agree Angel. I won't be expecting any football journalist to be breaking this story. We all came to thisbsite because they can barely get a transfer story right let alone know what's going on behind the scenes in a multi billion pound acquisition.

These things take time
Owners naturally want to make as much as they can, that's why they bought the asset in the 1st place how people can be amazed or disappointed at them trying to maximise their profit is frankly quite stupid.
They owe the club and its supporters nothing at all so if prospective new owners want to get a deal done quickly to allow them as much time as possible to have a good window then they need up their offer to a point that suits the owners.
The owners are not delaying the sale at all, nobody has met their valuation yet.
Although it does look closer than ever now thankfully.
Lets hope we get as many of our main targets in as possible.
