Just read this somewhere. Bebe has scored 9 in the last 11 games and 14 in total this season. And he scored another 25 yard free kick last night to help Pacos avoid relegation. Its either goalkeepers in Portugal are not so good at their jobs or maybe the kid was worth 7M after all!

A promising young player who just wasn't ready for a move to a club like United .
Wouldn't surprise me if he goes on to have a good career in Portugal and I hope he does

Loko I have quietly been hoping bebe comes good as thought he had the quality but lacked knowledge of the game. If he had come through an academy somewhere he would be much better but as it is he is having to learn on the job. That said he has been on loan for a few seasons and if he has had decent game time he might be developing nicely. I have no idea if he will make it at united but considering some of the ridicule in the press it would be nice if he did.

He's been having a wonderful season. I wouldn't mind seeing him given a chance next season if we fail to bring in any top wide players. He's a better player than Ashley Young right now!

Always believed given the time to develop this lad would make it at a top level and I still maintain that stance.

Coming from a part-time career to United, training on a daily basis and expecting to hit the value of the 7 million that was paid for him was always going to be tough.

Given another 2-3 seasons to adapt and get ride of his rough edges I think he will be on his way.

He is strong, fast, has a hell of a shot and is most-definitely a better crosser than Young and Valencia. A loan to a premier league club next season would be suited imo. that way we can keep a close eye on his development as well as seeing if he is at the level that the EPL requires.
