Nothing wrong with having a wishlist roonbest but don't waste
any money with the bookmakers on this

2.) 14 Jul 2014
I am not going to say anything until all the teams have done their spending. But I will say that I expect Chelsea to finish in the top two.

3.) 14 Jul 2014
I have to agree with Puzzled, your prediction is unrealistic. You need to swap around 4th and 7th.

Yeh Liverpool in the top lol not gunna happen mate

6.) 14 Jul 2014
Puzzled, I think in all seriousness that next season will be the closest ever. I think Liverpool will be a more solid unit allround, but the loss of Suarez is huge. I'm sure BigAl will come back and tell me I am clueless and lacking knowledge etc, but I just can't see Liverpool improving on last season, or even matching it. If they has made the same signing and kept Suarez I would see them as genuine contenders in all competitions (I don't mean win them all). I don't think they can replace Suarez like for like, so I expect hem to play differently next season. Maybe with 3 behing 1 central striker?
City will be there or there abouts again, and Arsenal are improving all the time, though still look a little week defensively.
Spurs I think will have another "false dawn" and end up disappointed.
Chelsea should be up there again, but I am not so sure about the signings they have made. Fabregas is a very good player, but going forwards I don't see him scoring as many goals as the departing Lampard, and defensively Chelsea are already very strong anyway, so I am not really sure whether he will improve Chelsea all that much as a team. Diego Costa is, in my opinion, not all that he is cracked up to be. Having said that, Chelsea are lacking up front so he should in theory improve them and score a few goals, though I am not convinced he will do that well in our league.
Finally, on to United. I am not sure that we will be ready to challenge for the title this season, though I have no doubt we will be considerably better that last season. I expect us to at least make top 4 and qualify for ECL. But IF we can get Vidal and a top class CB like Hummels, them who knows.
I guess time will tell, and of course there is 6 weeks left in the transfer window so a lot can change in that time. But whatever happens, I think next season will be one of, if not the best ever.

7.) 14 Jul 2014
Love the optimism, but I can't see us finishing 1st. Have to agree with Sydney on Chelsea in the top two as well.

8.) 14 Jul 2014
Right now, my prediction would be;

1) Chelsea
2) Manchester City
3) Manchester United
4) Arsenal

From there down, I couldn't care less. If we get the likes of Hummels & Vidal, or players of that equivalent, then we may finish higher.

9.) 14 Jul 2014
Betty everyone has an opinion
Liverpool will be a dangerous team again.next season and will finish in the top four IMO.
I will be keeping an eye on united. i'm a footballing fan and very interested in how LVG gets on. he's a big personality.
Some of your.posts I enjoy reading betty

Chelsea
Man city
Man United
Arsenal
Liverpool

11.) 14 Jul 2014
I think it all depends on who we sign. If we can get 3 or 4 more players' of sufficient quality, we will challenge for the title, IMO.

12.) 14 Jul 2014
Big Al, I'm only messing mate. Just thought I'd give you a mention after your less than complimentary reply the other day. What was it again? Pitiful, lacking knowledge and depth of something like that?

I'm standing by my prediction from last month.

1) Chelsea
2) Manchester City
3) Manchester United
4) Arsenal

If we sign Vidal, Reus and Hummels (or players of that ilk) I can see us taking second and giving Chelski a good fight for the title. If Liverpool reinvest the money wisely I can see them pipping Arsenal for 4th and giving us a fight for 3rd (assuming we don't sign Vidal, Reus and Hummels).

14.) 14 Jul 2014
In all honesty:

1. Chelsea
2. Man United
3. Man City
4. Arsenal
5. Liverpool
6. Tottenham
7. Everton

Chelsea just look too strong for me with a fantastic manager and a couple of excellent signings.

We have made excellent progress in addressing our key areas and have a top class manager but I think it might be a season too early to win it. I may change my mind if we got Vidal and Hummels. (Unlikely)

If City hold on to Toure though then I think there's a chance we swap places. Otherwise they still have arguably the best squad in the league but I'm not convinced they have the best team spirit, I'm also not convinced by Pellegrini and they are very reliant on their core, if any of Kompany, Toure or Aguero get injured they seem to be very heavily affected.

Arsenal have signed SAnchez who will improve them and look like they might get Khedira as well but with Wenger still there and the club still having the "bottlers" of the last few years can't see them doing better than this.

Liverpool I think will suffer from fixture congestion due to Europe and loosing Suarez. Might not even get 5th.

Spurs & Everton much of a muchness but think Pochetino will get spurs playing better and Everton's finances will scupper their chances of doing better unless Martinez can pull off another free transfer/loan miracle.

15.) 14 Jul 2014
I couldn't take the post seriously after Suarez was described as the best striker in the world (messi/ronaldo anyone?)

16.) 14 Jul 2014
The Gunners could well have been champions last year had it not been for leading the table in injuries, in particular to Walcott, who was beginning to add awareness, passing and goals to his speed. To contend with the increased schedule Liverpool would have needed a deeper squad just to stay where they were, but without Suarez, I expect them to fall off the pace. Chelsea will be too negative - Mourinho is a one trick pony. It will cost them.

At the risk of incurring heaps of ridicule, here's my list:

Arsenal
Manchester City
Chelsea
Manchester United
Liverpool
Everton
Spurs

17.) 14 Jul 2014
.Apologies betty, I mixed you up with a certain liverpool poster with that post. I do think united fans should lessen their expectations though. United no doubt should challenge for 4th but I have a feeling LVG will make things that.bit.difficult

18.) 14 Jul 2014
Peashooter that's what the table my look like at some point in the season but eventually Arsenal will bottle it and celebrate 4th again.

19.) 14 Jul 2014
Mixed bag no one has a clue just have a feeling mourinho is going to look for attention too often and make a mess of it and finish out of the top 4 ,and I do believe we will win it with a bit to spare

20.) 14 Jul 2014
Arsenal
Man City
Chelsea
Man Utd
Liverpool
Everton
Totenham
if Sanchez is a hit that's my prediction but a few signings for any team could change that
