The past few days, since the UCL exit I've been writing a fairly detailed article about Van Gaal and what I make of the current situation, the post was mostly backing him.

After this afternoon it is something that I decided to scrap.

I don't so much care about the result, its about the performance of the players. I can see where Van Gaal is trying to go.

What I can't deal with is sitting back being relatively unmoved by the occassion for 85 minutes of every game and then chasing it for the last 5 when we're losing.

I'm not quite at the stage that he needs to go, I'm more in the camp of if things don't change drastically I would like to see him move on in June.

The league is for the taking this season. If we stick with him it could ruin the next 2 years as we will likely miss out on CL qualification.

I think he will go in the summer, again when Pep becomes a available United will go for him.

I have recently changed my tune with regards to LVG also. I too could see where he was trying to take us but the more bad results we have, the more the players look lost on the pitch. His great unwillingness to change tactics when they are clearly not working is a joke. He seems to have one style off play and if it doesn't work, there is literally no plan B. He also seems blind to the game in front of him, for example why did he take Fellaini off and put Powell on when Fellaini looked about our only threat throughout the entire match today? I don't think Fellaini could quite believe it either, he was our best player. Why didn't he take Mata off who was anonymous again? We have had some bad luck recently with injuries and missed opportunities but the way things are going I can't see him lasting much longer.

His subs are pre planned unless there's an injury, why do you think you see so much confusion and they start flapping on the bench on what to do when there's an injury.

I think you guys who somehow see what most of us are missing in terms of where he wants to take us i guess pay no attention to our entire season and the last 14 or 15 games. What we are seeing is his philosophy being executed without much confusion and it is failing horrendously. It is not a coincidence were week in week out we look the same and so so poor. It is all down to him as this squad is lot better than what we are seeing.

Cgu. Spot on. And if anyone can come on here and explain what direction he's taking us, then I'm prepared to listen. He's completely clueless.
