Regardless of where we finish in the league or what happens in the FA Cup, we are not good enough. Very few players, if any, have played with passion or as if they want to play for the club and for me that starts with LVG. He is a boring man whose style of play is outdated and doesn't work. For me, a lot of changes need to be made starting with the man at the top. LVG is not a good manager. His style of play, the fact he sits in the dugout for the whole game and what he says in his press conferences etc are not what we need at this club. I don't think Giggs is the man or us, tbh I don't really know who is.

The defence:
I would keep De Gea, i think he has been the best GK in the world this year and without him LVG would have been sacked a long time ago. Daley Blind has been a decent stand in at CB but for me we need to get a permanent CB. Someone like Laporte or Varane. Hummels would have been my first choice, I think we need another CB. Darmian could be good at RB with another season and Luke Shaw is a natural LB for me so wouldn't need someone there.

Midfield:
Carrick I would keep for one more season but only as a back up. Lingard has done a decent job but I don't think he has the pace to be a UTD winger. Schneiderlin I don't think was a good signing so I would get rid of him. Keep Schweinsteiger for another year as i think players could learn a lot from him. Mata does a decent job when we have time and space to play in. He did well tonight v West Hame for the 1st goal. Januzaj needs to work on his pace before I would play him. If he can't improve on that then i don't see him as a future star. Depay I would get rid of for sure. I don't care how good he could be but his attitude has been horrendous! Especially after asking for the number 7 shirt. Very poor and embarrassing. 100% let him go. Martial I would keep on the left. I think he is very effective from there.

Up front:
I would drop Rooney to midfield in a Paul Scholes role. If he can emulate Scholes he could have many years left at Old Trafford. If he isn't up for that or can't do that, let him go. i'm sure a chinese team would be more than happy to pay over the odds for him. Rashford for me has to be starting up front. He's keen and always looking for the ball/ a team mate to set up. Good legs on him.

Signings:
I would sign 2 new CBs possibly young RB with potential if there are any out there. Two new Centre Mids, Matuidi/ Pogba/ Kroos or of similar quality. I would sign a fast winger with good work rate. I would take Zlatan, even i its just or a season his presence i think would be a good thing. Maybe bring the best out in people. Some might totally disagree. Saying that, if we could sign Antionne Greizmann I wouldn't take Zlatan. If not Zlatan and another younger striker. Maybe not Rashford young but less than 25.

Obviously these are just my opinions and others may disagree but wanted to see what people thought. See if anyone agrees with me on any of what I've said.

If you look at the points de gea has saved us without them we would be just above relegation fodder.

I'm sure we would all agree to Verane, Laporte, pogba, Kroos, zlatan and greizmann, but it's fantasy football mate. We don't have the pull we once had, we can't even offer CL football next season. Why would someone like greizmann come? Expect us to grossly overpay for another rojo, Depay and the like.

I think we do not need wholesale changes to our team. We need a new centreback and one strong midfielder and possibly a right sided winger. Then one top attacker to help martial and Rushford. Keep Carrick and give Depay a full season. the lad obviously has potential but just needs strong guidance. Keep Schneiderlin too. He was great at Southampton and should be again.

We need the right manager to put round pegs not in square holes. We need a manager to give the team defensive stability and strength. We need proper organisation. We need to be allowed to attack at pace. LVG is not that man.

Don't know if it's possible but how about the German Coach Joachim Lowe?

So you want ua to become a chelsea or a man city and just pump money into transfers to get a galatico team.

De Gea i agree with easily. Darmain gives too many fouls away. Smalling is good enough to stay. We need another centre back and we need to bring through mcnair etc. Lb we have shaw and cbj i'd get rid of rojo he's toilet.

Midfield schweini has to go done nothing this year. Carrick is going to be irreplaceable. Herrera gives to many fouls away but i like his work rate. Rooney looks good behind the strikers but needs to be told not to drop to deep. Would like us to sign kante though as for the right price we could get him and also he has the legs in midfield to make up for carrick.

Lingard has been one of our better players this season i love that he has the united way in his blood. He always turns towards opposition goal and is direct. Same as rashford he has been a light in other wise a dark season. Depay needs to just play get off his case and let the boy play. We didn't restrict ronaldo when he came, he didn't defend he attacked and threw his step overs in as well. Martial is a different class and has been our best outfield player this year since he signed. Mata i think he is a very good player but i don't know how you would fit him in if you want pace pn the wongs because i don't see him being effective in attacking centre midfield and he slows the game to much.

Thats my opinion aswell.

I don't understand Smalling's praise. He's ok if a striker has his back to goal anfor he anticipates a pass now and again. As for everything else, he's positionally inept and creates massive holes in our back four. charging out to close down players a central midfielder should be. Yes he's been ok in a few games but he's not good enough.
