With Mourinho Favouring historically a 4231 (able to move to a 433) who would you like to see play as the 2 in front of the defense and why.
Current and new additions. I suppose some realism would be good.

Any 2 from Morgan Bastian and Herrera for me. But we need to sign another. Kroos is a real long shot I guess as is kante but I'd like either of them or both if bastian leaves.

We're going to have to keep one of the current players in the engine room, Schneiderlin has to be given the chance to do what he does. Depending on the type of team we're playing, next to him you can have a deep lying combative midfielder or someone more creative to pull the strings. Morgan and TFM or Dier/ Morgan and Rooney or Wilshere or Kroos, etc.

Morgan will play there .
Bastian looks like he has retired benn really poor and continued to struggle with injuries.
Herrera? isn't that type of player at all.
Mensah could well get a chance there as will rooney .
I think we will buy a cm as well.

I will say Schneiderlin and Rooney, Herrera as the ACM for what we have at the moment. I hope to see Fosu-Mensah get lots of opportunities at DCM. I think one of Carrick and Bastian need to go. I could see one more CM coming in.
