As for Villareal's Eric Bailly, he has attracted interest from Barcelona and Manchester City (albeit he is far from first choice for either club) with Valencia, Montpellier, Marseille and Stoke also having the player watched this season. Barcelona see him as a raw talent but a cheap back-up option - but I can think of three ahead of him on the back up player list. The Manchester City interest came from Guardiola - and he was again far from first choice. Villareal quoted an unaffordable price to Marseille when they enquired. Manchester City also saw the asking price as too high whilst Manchester United may look to negotiate.}

I love the age profile of how we are spending money and where we are spending. Not there yet but it could be something specie in a couple of years and not talking about pl only.
