Good post Red.

The man made his name playing a certain lineup and system game after game, but for some reason he's turned into 'tinkerman'. Making unnecessary changes even straight after very good performances. I think everyone but carrick could have started this game after feyenord (of course the keeper had to come back in) . That's my main criticism. However, there is still good play and application from the players, I just hope they keep it up the good things after seemingly getting kicked in the teeth every week. And of course the manager too.

Hate to say this in a way, but I think we could be a strong 'cup team' this year at least. I really hate saying that as a United fan!

Just toying with idea that maybe he has discuss with Board to go CL via Europa way? Also try to win FA and League Cup i. e. Whatever silverware he can get his hands on?
I know it sounds weird but as a top manager he would have already know his team's capability and the number of point he is from title or 4th position. He may not be giving up as it is not him but he surely will know the odds.
That said I'd still support the entire team and only make judgement after next season.

The referees, the bad luck, the opposition playing bunker defenses, the sun is too hot, the wind is to strong. all of these are simply stupid excuses and cover over the fact that United are no longer relevant on the pitch.

Red666 Pogba dives and correctly receives a yellow card. Jose has a tantrum any 5 year old would be proud of and is correctly sent to the stands but according to you the referee was biased. Care to explain how you come to this conclusion.

Pogba dived and I agree with that. Not sure if that's yellow card worthy. Plenty divers in other teams and yet consistency is a big problem with referee. I have no problem with the yellow card as I agree that Pogba dived.
There has been worse from other manager and yet not much scrutiny shown and punished. Sure we are going to send Jose to stand at least start with a stern warning to him. Again don't know what was exchanged between Jose and referee so I will leave it as that.
My big problem has been the big inconsistency with ALL referees so I don't really have to explain to you since you have eyes. I am just stating something obvious. If there was consistency I will definitely agree with the sending to the stand.

If you're not sure Pogba deserved a yellow card then there's really no reason to have this conversation. Yes I have eyes and fortunately for me they're not covered with red tinted glasses like yours. Did nobody on your board see the way Jose left Madrid or watch his implosion at Chelsea last season. Did you all think you were getting the Jose of 10 years ago when he still had everything to prove. He's a shadow of that nowadays and comes across as an arrogant person who thinks he's above all others.

Managers are punished for such but let's just for the sake of debate that if the referees made wrong mistakes and also we don't know their ulterior motive against any teams what happens? How do we punish referees?
They are just having what I call "carpark attendant syndrome " who feels empowered and have power over whoever else and can't be touched. So until all the referees are consistent then I am sure we will have less to debate about. Managers have much to lose but referees? Who knows who is playing favorite to any teams? Including that of Man Utd.

RedAl,

They might not be covered with united red tinted glasses but your hatred of our club is shining through. I am assuming from the tone and the desperation to see Jose and united fail that you are in fact a Liverpool fan. So to suggest our opinions are wrong because we have red tinted glasses is a bit ironic when you are only on here because your team has had a good start and our team hasn't.

The refs will never be consistent until they are robots. If they make bad calls consistently then they are taken off of games, or given lower level games. Jose was foolish yesterday, now the ref's are calling for extra bans (I read some clown asking for 4/ 6 games), he paints himself into corners with his attitude which is ok if things are going well, but if not it makes you look like a stroppy bitch.

It was an over reaction by the ref, but as I said on live chat, it was a bigger over reaction from Mourinho. He needs to tear Pogba a new one for his antics leading to it. Then Woody needs to tear Jose a new one for his pathetic over reaction to a foul nowhere near the box with 20 odd minutes gone - it was desperate and cost us points in my view.

He needs to buck his ideas up sharpish, like some of our so called superstars do as well.

Gds2 yes I'm a Liverpool fan but no I don't hate Utd. I'm too old for all that crap. The fact is that after only 13 league games this will be Joses 3rd appearance in front of the FA. He has a worse record than Moyes and LVG despite having spent 150m in the summer. I can't fathom why so many on here defend him when he's tarnishing the image of your club.

The fact that you are a Liverpool fans speaks for itself as I know the deep hatred you all have for Man Utd fans. Don't need to try to defend as I have seen the ugliness.
Try beating our PL title record before you start to criticize our managers and putting us down and hoping we fail with Jose or for that matter any manager. If you want to debate fine but I feel your already deep hatred trying to say whatever it is and I have seen old people like yourself also behaving like a jealous 5 yr old. So just back off till your club beat our record.

Redal - it's because he followed the biggest joke of all time. Nobody would be supporting him like this if he hadn't followed LVG, some of us don't use LVG as the benchmark, but some do unfortunately 'media conditioning and blind faith'.

I don't think any of us want Jose sacked yet, but he is running out of time already - the signs aren't good. Not one of us would have predicted we would be this far off already, so frankly he has underachieved massively despite whatever problems the club has.

If I can tell you are a Liverpool fan just from how you post then maybe you aren't being totally unbiased. We might have less points than Moyes and LVG but if you really think it hasn't been any better then you have either not seen any of our games or are trying to see things that aren't there.

The reason the majority aren't asking for Jose out is because it's been 3 months, in which time the style of play has changed and improved dramatically and other than a couple of games we have looked like a team capable of challenging but just lacking that killer instinct. If that arrives then the people loving this and saying how Jose is done will be starting to look a bit silly, though as we all know, when it happens we won't see you on this page for dust.

Beast, Yes LVG was awful. I'm just saying that Jose isn't doing himself any favours acting like he is. Gds2 i agree your style of play is better now than it's been for three years but the results are poor. Red666 pick your toys up and go get your nappy changed.
