He should be the front runner for the technical director job.

He has had a serious illness and still talks more sense than some of our ex players come pundits.

That was fun to watch and you could tell he was still being generous. I couldn't believe they were broadcasting that sh*tshow of an event live but then remembered we have the womens and youth teams who deserve the accolades this season.

FZZ, did you vote? Shaw won because he was voted for by fans.

Why would I vote? I have zero interest in stupid awards nights. Why award failure.

The same could be said about voting in the political sphere. The point of voting is to have your say, you can't refuse to have your say then complain about the outcome.

I thought Lindelof had a very good season, if he can continue on the trajectory he has been on this season then we could have one of the best defenders in the league in a season or twos time. He is who I voted for. He didn't win.

As a side note both the fans and the players independently voted for Shaw on different awards, so he must be doing something right. However, the vote was a month ago, had his performances over the last couple of weeks happened just before the vote then I would imagine we would have had a different outcome. Just goes to highlight how important timing is when it comes to these sort of votes.
