When VVD signed for Liverpool, as MU fans we mocked the ridiculous fee that the scousers paid for a "good, but not world class" CB.

Now, no-one brings up the fee paid, or the outrageous and embarrassing approaches, that resulted in a public apology from LFC.

Why? Because, in the end, time heals the wounds felt by Southhampton and Leicester. No-one will remember if the player takes the step up and becomes a great player for their new side.

Few blaim Rooney for leaving Everton, VVD for leaving Southampton. And no-one will criticize Maguire for leaving Leicester.

Is the fee ridiculous? Of course. But it will soon seem money well spent if Harry becomes a locked down fixture in the MU first team. A player we have spent 6 years looking for. Yes. A resounding yes.

Good luck Harry, we have been waiting for you.

I agree with all that DodgyBanter!

" Here Here "

To Harry taking the chance and let's hope he takes it with Hands to prove his worth amongst all the negative fault finding critics! .

Lets hope the back 4 gel quickly? They are the last line of defence! If they put in the work for the club, Manager and Fans? But most importantly work on their own abilities and techniques etc

Enough of the Rambling.

Welcome Harry.

Who was mocking Liverpool when they signed VVD? I certainly wasn’t, I was envious. A glaring weakness in our team and a player who looked top class at Celtic, then in the PL, was always destined for the top imo. Probably the most complete current CB in the world now. I was just baffled we weren’t interested in him.
