Do we have a buy back option on Elanga?

What would be the point? He's done well no doubt, but I don't see him as being first choice for us.
I'm not sure where he'd play. Definitely not first choice in one of the inside forward/ No.10 positions. Especially if we sign Mbeumo, to join Bruno, Cunha, Mount and Amad. All of which would be ahead of Elanga.
Maybe he could play as a wingback, he does on paper look to be potentially a good player to convert into that position. Yet it's a difficult position to master and there are no guarantees he adapts to that role, or indeed that he'd want to play that role.
So why spend money to bring back a player to experiment whether they can do well in a position that haven't really played in?
When we have limited funds, and a huge number of needs across the first team I don't think this is the summer to spend money on gambles. We should be signing as many "sure things" as possible and in the positions of highest priority.

Shapps, you make a very fair point.
I just wondered if had put that in the transfer conditions.
Let's hope we get our key targets.
There still very much feels like a utd tax going on. yet when trying to sell we get mugged off.
