Have to say Gibbs White for £60m seems good business to me. I would like him for us as he works hard always looking to pass forward and knows where the goal is. I would have bought him as a Bruno replacement and integrated him into the team over the next year or so. Bruno is unlikely to be producing at the level he did last season for more than another two.

{Ed077's Note - people have been saying Bruno can't keep on producing the numbers he has for almost every season since he got here, yet he has always managed to contribute to the team. MGW, on the other hand has had 1 good season (number wise, season long) in the PL. 60m for him makes the 65-70m valuation of Mbuemo look modest if anything. ( I guess it's all opinions at the end of the day)

Agree Ed. This £50-60m seems to be the benchmark for players of this ilk in this window. Mbeumo is the pick of them in my view, probably even more than Cunha.
A lot of talk yesterday suggesting the delay is down to Utd showing that they're not prepared to be held to ransom as with previous years but in this case he's probably underpriced if anything IMO.

{Ed077's Note - Mbuemo has been better for Brentford than either of MGW or Kudus had been for their respective teams for more seasons. The only thing is Mbuemo has less to run on his deal than the others

Mbuemo woukd be a great signing for Utd. I'd pay that bit extra to get him. He would add so much quality to Utd, that has been lacking. After that, I'd go our for a CF.

The same gibbs white who's only managed 18 goals at forest. In 3 seasons. In all competitions. Not a chance he can replace bruno.

Strange how everyone else at every club that a sale goes through, our supporters want that player and make every excuse that they are better than what we have…kudos and Gibbs rolled into one are nowhere near Bruno or even an aging Cassermiro.
