Onana can't be in goal again for us, if he is what the heck sort of message does it send. Time and time again he has shockers and yet he's still starting. That was honestly one of the worst gk performances I've seen, especially considering the level of opposition, and as for the pens. yes he saved 1 but he was god awful for the rest of them. When a league 2 side are targeting u and trying to score from corners then u know you're a bad one.

Looked to me during penalties that Onana was deliberately diving the wrong way. Their two goals were his mistakes.

Here we are again, knew we needed a GK and CM but out of one of only two winnable competitions plus under pressure in the league. Buy early.

Onana is one issue but the board dithered again, losing to Grimsby isn’t acceptable.

Red Man, I saw Onana diving to his left 5 times in a row. Season and Amorim can be saved if we get a decent goalkeeper, if not just put Heaton in goal.

{Ed001's Note - if your keeper gets a good hand to it and it still goes in the net, then you know you have a problem. When he does it 3 or 4 times at least, then you know he needs to go.}

While Onana isn't the only problem with this team, he is a really big one.

Not only does he cost us goals, he undermines the confidence of the entire back line, while he inspires confidence in our opposition. They feel they only need to get a shot on target and he'll let it in.

At this point Massimo Taibi would be an improvement on Onana and he's 55 years old for god's sake.

The club need to do everything in their power to move him on this summer, even if it's just a loan for the season until they can find a buyer next year.

Someone needs to sit down with him and explain that the only football he'll get this year if he stays with us is at the AFCON. If Saudi make a bid accept it, or maybe a loan to Turkey or Italy.
