Obviously I'm not happy with how Onana has turned out. He's been an unmitigated disaster, something few people could have predicted, even our own scouts.

He had just been one of the best players in the UCL final when we signed him. While his shot stopping was never on DDG's level, he's at a similar level when it comes to dealing with crosses and was miles better playing out with his feet. Which was where he was supposed to really improve us.

As it turns out he's been poor at everything and really hasn't adapt at all. Unfortunately that is the gamble you take when you sign a player.

Seriously? I expect things like that from certain posters but everyone has had an opinion that has been proved wrong, Shappy puts his neck on the line a lot so he’s likely to get some things right and some things wrong, he’s also adult enough to change his opinion based on seeing facts, it’s how grown ups operate. Picking on something he said 2 years ago to have a dig isn’t what this site is about at all.
