I must say we've had a decent window but I feel we're going to come up short again. Our biggest issue is midfield. We probably have the worst central midfielders roster in the league. It's been terrible for years! Almost every attack we have is in transition because we don't have midfielders capable of winning the ball back or controlling a game. This is going to be a long old season I fear and could cost the manager his job. Hopefully this isn't the case but not getting at least one midfielder in this window is the difference between us challenging for Europe and top 10 I reckon.

Baleba next summer. A great window even without Baleba.
I did say no more outfields only Lammens after the strikeforce was complete.

Ridiculous not to bring in at least one midfielder . will come back to haunt us no doubt. Also the young inexperienced keeper could be problematic. but will have to play him given the other 2 options.

We have done a huge amount in the last 2 windows. CM is clearly a problem. But some of it is because Bruno is playing poorly atm and I do expect him to improve. Mainoo also should have ample opportunity to prove himself. The GK I do think was a bigger priority. Lammens is a risk but what he is really good at is crosses and that's been our biggest problem. If he treats crosses like he's Van Helsing then, regardless of midfield, we'll be much better.

For me, the biggest issue is the goalkeeper. How many points did keeping errors cost us last season?

I’m not convinced that the lad we signed is the solution either. Young, unproven, and untested. Yes, buying potential is very important, but when defensive stability is the problem, a more experienced keeper is required.

I think had we moved Anthony, Garnacho and Sancho earlier on in the transfer window, then a move for a CM would have materialised.

I did hope for a last minute loan deal out of nowhere. All in all it has been a good transfer window, given the reluctance if some players to leave.
