Agree with the vast majority. I know Liverpool had a phenomenal window, and used their champions status to bring in some potentially world class players.
But … can it be A+ without bringing in a centre back? As good as the team is in attack, they’re one injury to Virgil away from a major problem.
{Ed001's Note - Leoni was brought in, so a centre-back was signed.}

Liverpool did well with Ekitike, Isak and Wirtz. It's offset somewhat by Diaz going and it'll like mean Gakpo plays less but they've a wealth of attacking options. I'm unconvinced by Kerkez and Frimpong is more suited to a wing back role. They do look a little susceptible defensively and there's a balance issue but they've so many attacking options now that they're winning games on fewer chances or play than their opponents. It'll be a surprise if they don't win the league this year, as their main challengers have a manager - Arteta - that doesn't appear to have the mentality required to win and is now, imo, holding his team back.

Yeah, I kind of saw him as a replacement for Quansha, and not sure if I’d class him as a true back up CB. I actually think Gomez is a decent player too, but injuries make it difficult to rely on him as a back up.
My opinion is that if Liverpool had got Guehi over the line, it would be A+, but the lack of proven depth at cb leaves it as an A for me. Still a phenomenal window, just short of perfect.
{Ed001's Note - I can see what you mean, but for me getting the attack sorted was priority as it was the weak link last season. The defence was the second best in the league and it has been improved with a much better player than Quansah as back up, plus Kerkez is a step up from Robbo, whose legs have gone. Right-back is debatable, Frimpong has not got that ability to push opponents back simply by being on the pitch, like Trent could. But no one else does that, so there was no way of replacing that.}

Ed001 are you convinced that Kerkez is actually a step up from Robertson. I thought he was quick enough last year but in the first few games this year he's been caught out for pace several times. That might be due to starting position which he needs to work on but could be due to his aggression, which is definitely more an asset than a weakness.
{Ed001's Note - massive upgrade.}
