Mr dependable dennis irwin ronaldo and solskjaer

2.) 01 Mar 2013
For me Van de Sat was great, but Schmeichal was the greatest of all time!
Stam = beast. captain marvel. Scholes just makes love to the ball. Cantona (obviously). Hughes = red card or impossible volley. I always had a soft spot Sharp. but Giggs is the greatest United player of all time for me.
of the modern era its Vidic, Rafael (not just of this season) and Welbeck (I know he is not everyones choice, but I see as much potential in him as I've seen in any player in a long time) though his finishing does drive me nuts. {Ed007's Note - Welbeck as a favourite Utd player ever.???? Get to bed Danny, you're embarrassing yiurself!!!}

Bryan Robson, for me he was mr Manchester United, then comes the Great Dane, keano (comes close to robson), sparky, bekham and Rooney. From that list you can probably see that I love players passion and commitment more than flair and skill.
At the time of ronny playing for us I loved watching him but was never a legend for me just a brilliant player, however the way he still talks about united, the players, fergie and most if all the fans he is becoming a legend for me.

Gigs and Scholes.

My favourite player i've seen at OT is Ole Gunner Solskjear, he just always played with a smile on his face. In our current squad my favourite player is Javier Hernandez for the same reason. I like players who get enjoyment out of playing for us, players who always play with a smile on their faces. I also like to see commited players like Keane Robson and Vidic.

6.) 01 Mar 2013
Robson

7.) 01 Mar 2013

As a kid Bryan Robson was THE man (when he wasnt injured) and Hughes was a beast.
For the impact he had on the team as the missing piece of the jigsaw and his impact on the premiership Cantona.
For pure talent, in my lifetime even amongst so many great players without doubt Ronaldo, though I would put Schmeichel on par for his position, best keeper I have ever seen.
However my favourite isn't so much a player, but the midefield of Giggs, Keane, Scholes and Beckham was just phenomenal. They learnt in Europe from palying great Juventus sides over a few years to become the BEST midfield in the world, it had everything. Think Xavi, Iniesta and the current Barcelona midfield, that was us :)

Eric Cantona - By a country mile my hero

Keanoh, Giggs, Rooney, Ferdinand.

Not taking into account a lot of legends I haven't seen playing.

12.) 01 Mar 2013
I think anyone old enough to have seen Robson would say him. We'd have two more European cups if he was in his prime circa 95'

13.) 01 Mar 2013
Two of my favourites have been Van Nistlerooy and Solskjaer.

My hero's include Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Cantona and Schmeichel.

Recent favourites include Hernandez, Rafael & Jones.

14.) 01 Mar 2013
As a kid it was Law, Best and Charlton. As a young guy it was Schmichael, Cantona and Hughes. As a middle aged guy it's Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs

Well to be fair 007, I wasnt inferring that Danny (what's a barn door) Welbeck was an all time favorite, just that of the current squad he is one that get overly excited about. thought that was clear from my post, but apologies if it wasn't.

by the way 007, how did you know it was my bedtime?

goodnight one and all {Ed007's Note - I really don't rate Welbeck mate that is all. If he didn't play for Utd how many people's wish list would he be on? Plus if he hadn't came through the youth set-up he would not be cut the slack he is from fans.}
