Ed02 - would this be an alternative to Amrabat? Whilst I've always thought Veratti is a good player, it seems like a very short-sighted move again.

Are there any younger CMs we're actively looking at Ed02? I can remember Kone and Khéphren Thuram being mentioned in previous posts, but all seems to have gone quiet on both of them.

Good player but backwards stuff. buying 30/ 31 year olds on probably paying massive wages is not forward planning imo.

We should be buying younger imo. Besides RVP can't remember any of these deals in the past working out well for us.

We already took the plunge on cas and would like to think we have a plan to buy a young dm who eventually takes over from him down the road.

Forget the fee. Bite and experience is exactly what we need right now. We are so mentally weak, and only a Cas/ Martinez injury or suspension away from a bad run of form.

We also have the CL to navigate which is a much bigger challenge to last season. Veratti improves our first XI, I’d welcome him with open arms.

Excellent player but does tend to pick and choose what games he plays at PSG, not sure why fans on here worry about age and cost one minute then next minute moan there is no leaders in team, your not going to be a 20 year leader and walk in at united and lead!
Let’s be fair to mention Veratti and arambet in same breath is a joke plus they play different positions, if Arambet ever becomes half as good as Veratti, he needs to get on with it!

Nope United need to stop buying names because available and start forward planning. Even the Cas signing 70 million and another 100 million in wages for a player who will not be worthbit across the second half of his contract. The cash tied uo in deals like this hurt us rebuilding or building if you look were we were from.

Someone needs to get a grip of this, bring in a top sporting directir with clear vision allied to Ten Hags and start making sensible decisions.

I am big fan of what Cas did last year but i still believe long term it was the wrong choice.
