So with the imminent departure of RVP and after turning down the option to sign Falcao, that leaves us with Rooney and Wilson as the 2 recognised strikers. And if rumours are to believed Wilson will go out on loan.
Woodward must surely have a striker in the bag already, either that or he is completely crazy.
I'm going to go for the former and say speculate that we are about to wrap up the signing of a striker. I am excited!

I can only imagine we have a top player lined up but I've not heard anything from any reliable sources, it's exciting though

I think the signing of ADM last summer was , as much as anything , Ã message of intent to the rest of the footballing world. A statement , if you like. I don't think it has turned out to be a good signing in footballing terms , but it certainly dispelled this silly theory that we can no longer attract the "big names".
Personally , I would not be a bit surprised if we made a similar , or even bigger signing in this window. I won't try to guess who , but it will probably be a complete surprise to everyone. And for big bucks too.
I'd PSG's interest in ADM is genuine , another wide front player may be in the cards. Welsh perhaps?

Don't forget Hernandez is still here, we've also loaned out Keane tonight too, I expect a squad player to be brought in as there's a serious lack of top quality strikers available at the minute.

i agree.personally think 2 signings will be unveiled at fridays press conference probably not a striker but my bet would be cavarni during the tour

betty if its true about ADM to psg which i feel its very doubtfull v migth be go for cavani i heard psg close on french striker it make more sense he his lvg kind of player too
