Okey Dokey,
The press have us linked with Otamendi for €49m (€1m below his release cause)
Mario Gotze, as apparently Juve offered lots less than Bayern are looking for. Apparently will pay full price.
And there are some snippets of links to Draxler. Who is also being chased by Arsenal and Juve.

1.) 09 Aug 2015 22:02:51
Will - We'll

2.) 09 Aug 2015 22:13:02
Are you saying that we or juve are offering full price for gotze?

3.) 10 Aug 2015 07:10:52
Do we have room for gotze I assumed depay and mata would be the option behind the striker. A winger is required I like young but feel abit more quality is required now Di Maria has gone. Obviously pedro is the name and he would have had the beating of Walker.
Otamendi who knows. Been drawn out for sometime but would obviously be welcomed.

4.) 10 Aug 2015 09:01:30
I don't think we need Gotze. As for Otamendi, I read that the offer is less than his buyout clause, because of avoiding some taxes in Spain.

5.) 10 Aug 2015 09:11:01
Source- Newsnow Manchester United. It basically/kinda picks all the most hit headlines from around the globe, but obviously 99% is rubbish

27 Aug 2013 22:01:50
Fellaini £20m rising to £24m, agreed apparently.

22 Aug 2013 18:50:46
Chelsea are now odds on to sign Willian, does this mean Juan Mata could be involved in a deal for Rooney? I'd like to relieve them of Lukaku too. Cracking players.

1.) There will be no "DEAL" with Chelsea and the above deal ends it all for Rooney chances of a move there

2.) Mata would be a fine signing, straight swap for Rooney.

Make it happen MU, make it happen.

3.) Lol you united fans are dreamers lol

4.) I think the Liverpool fans are dreamers. They think they have a chance of Mata.

All I will say is there were strong rumours when Jose arrived that he wasn't convinced by Luiz and Mata. Luiz could well be going to Barcelona as talks are taking place. So was those rumours correct? Mata is a left forward who drifts in from the left. Hazard, Schurrle, Willian are all very similar. So do not rule it out completely. That's all I will say. Perhaps Jose isn't too impressed with Mata.

Where would Mata play if the club added Rooney and Willian to their squad?

5.) Why he would play for Manchester United of course Sydney ;)
Perfect swap, that way Mata could play on left and Kagawa thru the middle, problem solved and even Klopps heart would be mended!
I don't see why it's a dream no name?

6.) Although at the same time, I wouldn't be heartbroken myself if this meant Rooney did stay. I just wish he could turn my cringing of his immaturity, into full blown support again ASAP. Those pictures of him after RVPs 2nd against Swansea were like the straw that broke the camels back. I just want to shake him! Lol

7.) Syd, Mata almost always plays on the right drifting in with Hazard on the left or Moses. Schurrle plays on the right but he's still to prove himself. Oscar can play anywhere along that line but I honestly can't see Mata leaving CFC. If you really want Mata because you believe he is so good, then surely Mourinho would see that too (if true) and keep him. Just the way I see it.

8.) I think this whole Mata not a Mourinho player is a cover for him wanting to move back to Spain. He's a cracking player, there's no way anyone wouldn't want him in their team and he's been Chelseas best player. I'd love him here, but not at the expense of Rooney and not if he plans on returning to Spain (which I'm sure he does).

9.) Patzi. You and many others have read too much into those pictures of Rooney after the goal. Even MOTD should be made to apologise for their comments. He had been cynically taken out by Michu and was just about picking himself up off the ground after the ball had gone in. He'd taken hell of a whack and was then expected by all to run after teammates to celebrate. Don't think so.
In will cheer him to the rafters until he doesn't wear the Red of United as I do all the players.

10.) 23 Aug 2013 12:25:02
Check the liverpool and chelsea page Syd. Moses will be leaving no intention to sell Mata according to Ed02

11.) Would love to see lukaku at UTD

13 Jul 2013 11:06:03
Real Madrid are likely to bid £36m on Vidal, and apparently expect strong competition for his signature from Manchester united.
This surely has substance, as he would be the ideal signing for us. For me, if this was the only 1 we pulled off I'd be ecstatic. But Moyes said 'targets' not 'target'.

1.) Can not see us spending £36m on a midfielder, although he's a good player just can't see it.

2.) 25m and nani?

3.) Ozwald, why not? its what we need. we spent £30 mill on berbatov and that was 5 years ago

4.) Berbatov wasnt 5 years older

5.) Andrew, Berba was top scorer in the PL the season before, the price we paid was justified. £36m on a midfielder playing in Serie A? Seems a bit unrealistic.

Moyes emphasized managers are often judged on the players they sign and how successful they are, £36m on a midfielder from a different league could be a bit of a risk don't you think?

That's why it makes sense that Thiago is the player we're pushing hardest for at the moment, he's a real bargain with ability and a lot of potential, with the probability of him being a very successful signing.

6.) We should spend
Luka Modric 20m
Gareth Bale 65m
Leighton Baines 16m

7.) Sorry misread the post

8.) As if people thi k we have a chance of signing Vidal? Who do you think we are and why would he take a step down to come here?

9.) He does say he wants to stay at Juventus, so why would a bid from us make any difference?

15 Jun 2013 18:18:26
Isco showing his class again. I'd prefer him to Thiago (although wouldn't feel too hard done by with the latter). Such a shame we won't go all out for him. Grah#m Hunt#r says if he goes city, he fully expects him to be their player of the season come next may. Bold statement! {Ed002's Note - It is a case where GH may well be right, regardless of the interest from elsewhere.}

1.) O well, now for the Veratti/Strootman show. Veratti is another cracker I'd love! But like Strootman too!

Press conference confirmed on sky for around 10.30pm. LVG himself apparently. The Benteke rumours were rubbished too!!

1.) 15 Jul 2015 19:53:41
It's to unveil all the new signings apparently.

2.) 15 Jul 2015 19:55:56
Surely no surprises, surely just formally introducing the new signings (the ones we know about)?

3.) 15 Jul 2015 19:56:25
I can only imagine we are signing Benteke so we don't have to play Fellaini anymore and so we don't have to drop rooney.

4.) 15 Jul 2015 19:57:36
Rvp? Will the press conference be live streamed anywhere?

5.) 15 Jul 2015 20:11:02
Just a thought.

How about DDG going to Real. Di Maria being sold and Ronaldo in return. Could be affordable and popular. I didn't say sensible though.

Could sound good for the short term for many.

Let us not forget the Fergie era though. That evolved with kids. Not money. Most stayed till the end as well. Which can cause consistency.
Not a bad thing as we know.

6.) 15 Jul 2015 20:26:20
Ronaldo return in a De Gea deal with Di Maria sold elsewhere maybe. Hope not!

7.) 15 Jul 2015 20:37:54
haha i was just wondering how come there no ronaldo returns post r not here it just took 16 days .

8.) 15 Jul 2015 20:38:30
Bejaysus! Don't shoot the messenger!! Lol. Yes it's Defo involving the new signings, but the press are going to grill him on RVP, new strikers and defenders etc. Worth a watch me thinks

9.) 15 Jul 2015 20:43:33
Press conference on mutv 10pm

10.) 15 Jul 2015 21:00:21

14.) 15 Jul 2015 22:03:26
What language is that dwill?

15.) 15 Jul 2015 22:41:17

16.) 15 Jul 2015 22:56:43
Ajh its all I've been able to think about since that got started off.

17.) 15 Jul 2015 23:18:28
Ajh its been on my mind since it was first mentioned.

18.) 15 Jul 2015 23:35:50

Please don't be offended, is English not your first language? It will help me understand a bit better if it isn't.

15 Jul 2015 13:45:58
Oh dear. Has anyone seen Bentekes last 'favourite' on twitter. 😕😕😕😕😕😕😕😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😕😣😕😣😕😕😕😕

1.) 15 Jul 2015 13:53:56
Don't say it is us, for the love of God nooooooooo!

2.) 15 Jul 2015 13:55:34
Yes, however it's a post about him playing second fiddle to Rooney perhaps people have misunderstood.

Also if lewandowski is available for 40 ish I'd cry if we signed benteke for 33 mil.

On the bright side for those that have seen the benteke chant to the theme tune of 'in the jungle' it is a brilliant song haha

3.) 15 Jul 2015 14:05:42
It would be nice if you just told us. I am assuming its something to do with us

4.) 15 Jul 2015 14:08:42
No song could make up for signing Benteke for me :-)
We need to leave him for Liverpool, put an extra £7-10m down and go all out for Lewandowski if there is any chance of him leaving.

5.) 15 Jul 2015 14:18:43
I think people are too hard on Benteke. when on his game he is a beast and something different to what we have.
He would not play every game but would be a good addition.
I think we have a decent relationship with Villa over the Cleverly deal so maybe £22m plus loan of a player would get the job done!

6.) 15 Jul 2015 14:26:25
I agree completely Brendan and no chant would change that. However have you seen the chant? It is good

7.) 15 Jul 2015 14:35:36
He will want to play Brad, not be backup. He's not a United player for me, let him join Liverpool, he will play every week.

11 Jul 2015 10:05:58
How's tricks Bond? Lovely little win for the Bhoys last nyt over Moyes Sociedad.

{Ed007's Note - I'm good thanks mate. It was only a pre-season match but it was a good run out in preparation for the start of our CL qualifiers against FC Stjarnan on Wednesday night. I'm also hoping we took the chance last night to try and get a deal for Alfred Finnbogason on loan for the season.

There's a Stjarnan playing us in July,
They'd like to come and beat us,
But we think they'll lose the tie.....

09 Jul 2015 22:27:34
I believe one of the Eds has taken up the KLOOT role to keep us entertained!!

Although whether it is or not, it's working!!

{Ed001's Note - no mate, we don't have time for that sorry. It seems someone else had that idea though.}

1.) 10 Jul 2015 07:28:39
It's not Kloot, of course it's not lol the "I'm just trying to wake everyone up" quote stunk of someone else.

10 Jul 2015 00:37:27
Banter plz

KLOOT, and my esteemed united bredrins

I just believe the Glazers are what they are, have done what they've done. They aren't oil rich like kloots envious comparisons. We are not a toy, we are a business. A huge sporting brand. I believe that to a certain extent, they have bled our club, but have also gave back in this constant branding and worldwide sponserships.

I am related to a guy (through marriage) who was part of FC UNITEDS set up when this all started, I, like he and many of you stitched goatee bearing voodoo dolls matched with permanent markered glasses. I waved the green and gold.
After time you have to ask yourself What now would we achieve in Mutiny? We are gathering strength. Yes they are money grabbers, cash cow strokers. But they are doing good business. What will become of citeh and chelski should their owners become bored?.
I don't hear KLOOT saying anything about that Racehorse Rock of Gibraltar? Arguably, if Magnier and MacManus weren't to get upset by Fergies greed. We coulda/shoulda/woulda? It's six of one half dozen of the other.
I, like my former FC UNITED peer, have licked my personal wounds and got over it. I got sick of being a dog chasing it's tail, round and round, never getting anywhere.
Remove those harmful blinkers boys and gals. MUTINY HURTS HARD NO MATTER WHAT.

1.) 10 Jul 2015 07:32:25
Yes u r right. Nothing we can do about the glazers and we are getting money in the club whether it's there's or not. I agree with KLOOT though they are not good for the club! Waving a few green and yellow scarves isn't going to help imo.

I disagree with GDS2.
I thought Depay was terrible, and Rooney worse.
But delighted with points

Is he world class?

Is he an upgrade on Martial? Rashford?

Great player, 'phenomenal' according to Jose.

He would be a great addition, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if we didn't him.

I think Martial is better.

{Ed007's Note - Am I wrong though, Patzi? Legends of Utd, REAL legends who loved the club and not just because of their pay packet led by a wonderful man that nearly died in Munich and who went on to lead Utd to be kings of Europe when it wasn't all about the money and not one poster on here has mentioned it - don't you think that's a shame?}

It never changes here.

Everyone agreeing that Dier was a 'weak link'. It's just incredible.

He is Not £60m, but definitely is not a weak link.

We are in for him, and he would be a perfect addition.

Just need Ngiak and IAMKLOOT to reel this in.

{Ed007's Note - I miss KLOOT. I bet if him and Sydney were still posting there would be a thread about the EC victory anniversary. I know it doesn't mean much to those that think football was invented in 1992 but it's an important part of the club's history and not one poster has mentioned it. They're all too busy worrying about who City are signing or dreaming up ways to spend millions that they have no control over and pulling their pudden over the thought of who Utd should sign. It's such a shame.}
