So with spurs apparently looking at 3 strikers inc hernandez, could this be the biggest sign yet that Kane to Utd is on the cards?

1.) 11 Aug 2015 10:43:21
Or could it be that Spurs only have 1 recognised CF in Harry Kane?

2.) 11 Aug 2015 10:54:40
No it is probably a sign that you take too much notice of the nonsense they write in the papers.

3.) 11 Aug 2015 10:57:39
Adebayor is being pushed out, Soldado is poor. That only really leaves Kane as the only 1st team striker. I suspect Spurs are trying to add a bit more depth.
That said I wouldn't mind Kane at United, but I do not know where he would fit in, and can't see him being happy on the bench.

4.) 11 Aug 2015 11:07:44
nope !!! just that they only have 1 striker

5.) 11 Aug 2015 12:15:18
Or they need to replace soldado and adebyawful.

6.) 11 Aug 2015 13:02:34
I do like to keep an eye on what's happening at my beloved club! Apparently were not interested in hernandez. But canning town bingo club are?.also kane will remain as will lloris at ggth

7.) 11 Aug 2015 14:04:58
hernandez would walk into your team ! so what does that say about the rest of your team if your 'canning town bingo club'comment rings true

8.) 11 Aug 2015 19:01:36
We would really only have Rooney left if Chicharito left. Wilson i hope will play but i hear he's going out on loan.

Am i the only one who thought RvP went a season too early?

We need to sign someone as back up but most importantly a big strong experienced CB

9.) 11 Aug 2015 19:28:41
Draxler hasn't moved. Has he?

10.) 11 Aug 2015 22:09:10
Hernandez wouldn't get anywhere near our team strebor

29 Jul 2015 15:52:58
Rumour has it a solid bid in for bale and real are happy to accept to raise funds for aguero

1.) 29 Jul 2015 16:14:54
If there is any truth in this, then I would imagine it is certain DDG is going the other way.

2.) 29 Jul 2015 16:20:29
Doubt it, the fat waiter loves him

3.) 29 Jul 2015 17:17:27
Would certainly be better than others we are linked with and ticks all the boxes- service (only 25), skill/ability, undoubted and he has proved it in the premiership. Would send a strong message to europe to just to Epl teams.

4.) 29 Jul 2015 18:31:51
"to raise funds for aguero". because City will obviously just sell him as they need the money?. and don't mind selling arguably the best player in the EPL and one of the top forwards in world football? Maybe just a rumour I know but makes no sense at all to me. Even if Madrid offered 100 million I would be very surprised if City sold him. I would love Bale to come to United more than anyone, but I just can't see it happening, this season at least. If he has another difficult season in Madrid then maybe next year it's more of a possibility.

5.) 29 Jul 2015 18:52:38
What if he wants to leave?

What if his girl friend lives in Madrid?

6.) 29 Jul 2015 19:04:14
Yes because Citie are a feeder club and sell their best players don't they👏

7.) 29 Jul 2015 19:36:18
Have city never sold any of their best players? Are we a feeder club is that why we sold ronaldo?

8.) 29 Jul 2015 19:41:54
What a load of rubbish from whoatealldepays

9.) 29 Jul 2015 19:42:33
WhoAteAllDepays, we sold Beckham, Ruud, Ronaldo and Heinze to them. 3 of them in their prime and most likely they will take our keeper too so yes we have been a feeder club for them. City haven't sold a single good player in a long time.

10.) 29 Jul 2015 19:52:37
Sorry pep maybe i should clog up the news feed moaning and asking the eds about adm like you in future

11.) 29 Jul 2015 20:19:01
RA were Tevez and balotelli not 2 of their best players when they left? Tevez left in 13/14 not exactly a long time. If a player wants out these days it usually happens.

12.) 29 Jul 2015 20:19:57
On 17th July the Ed's comment on the Real Madrid page was "Ideally they (Madrid) would like Aguero and/or Morata although a recent "event" has really limited the likelihood of a move for Aguero". The ed also mentioned Thomas Muller as a possible. No idea if that has changed.

13.) 29 Jul 2015 20:29:50
Don't get all the ridiculing of Delays post? Any player has a value. Top players are always moving clubs. If Madrid came in for Aguero , and he wanted to move there , of course it could happen.

{Ed025's Note - your right betty..

14.) 29 Jul 2015 20:41:14
Thankyou Betty

15.) 29 Jul 2015 20:53:31
Agree with WAAD on this as he did start his post with "rumour has it". City have sold a few decent players over the years I think people are missing out on Boateng, Negredo and Garcia. All big names who commanded decent fees. Stating something is rubbish is counterproductive and attention seeking hence the disagree button.

16.) 29 Jul 2015 21:02:26
Tbf, the Twitter guy he's nabbed this off has got a few things right this summer.

17.) 29 Jul 2015 21:23:31
Delays , you're welcome mate. I think some poster just like to argue for the sake of it. There is not a footballer , or sportsman for that matter , on the planet who is "unbuyable".

Ed25 , nice to " see" you back on these pages. You have a lot of good input when you grace our pages , along with Ed001. Chow do you feel about the possibility of Stones leaving? Personally , I think it would be a mistake for him to join one of the big boys just yet. I would think another year or two at a good solid club like Everton would be more beneficial for him long term. In a way, I think it is more important for GK's and defenders to have a few more years "learning their trade"; before moving on to bigger things.

{Ed025's Note - i agree betty, and although john has the potential to become an outstanding player he is not there just yet, he is still prone to the odd howler that has cost us points, i would like to see him learn his trade and then if the time is right move on, now i know i might sound like an auld arse mate but one of the problems with the game is young guys being know alls and being badly advised by their blood sucking agents (sterling), i just hope stones is better than that and to be honest i think he is..

18.) 29 Jul 2015 22:07:08
Pepgiggs, didn't you mention something about Yannick Bolasie earlier? Know your stuff eh mate.
Don't shoot the bloke down for posting a rumour he's read/heard on a rumour site.

19.) 29 Jul 2015 22:01:42
Ed , yeah Sterling is the prime example. If Stones goes to Chelsea he will be behind Ferry , Cahill and Zouma at least in the pecking order. He could go out on loan , but I don't see any benefit to him as a player in doing that. Why not just stay at Everton and aim to move in a year or two.
But , of course there is the money issue. And we all know that clouds a players judgement big time , especially the younger ones. Funny how Sterling comes to mind again :)

{Ed025's Note - stirling will be the bench mark for a long time betty, what a brat!, it would be good to see what SAF would have done with him if he were in brenda,s shoes mate.. :)

20.) 29 Jul 2015 22:27:53
I mentioned bolasie to see what peoples opinions were of him as a player. It wasn't a rumour! What's that got to do with 'knowing my stuff'

I put that post to see what reaction I'd get. I seem to get a lot of stick of people on here and I am really not quite sure why, I'm interested in the adm story because it's real, and happening so I like to ask the eds there 'professional' 'professional'opinion. Less than one post a day is 'clogging up' is. Betty swallocks had it nailed earlier, belittling peoples post , there's just no need. The eds seem to keep the stronger worded and belittling posts of when they see necessary , maybe they need to keep a few more from being posted

21.) 30 Jul 2015 07:51:07
All I'm saying is you jumped on the guy for posting a rumour. Surely that's exactly what a rumour site is for.
As for City selling Agueto. This is the Real Madrid who bought Luis Figo from their biggest rivals Barca.

18 Jul 2015 22:13:33
Couple of rumours going around
1. Utd will trigger Pedro release clause
2. Utd have put in a 2nd bid for Ramos

Make if them what you will

Don't shoot the messenger :)

1.) 19 Jul 2015 07:59:25
There are mixed informations about the release clause of Pedro from 30 to 150mln.And we have plenty in his position hence he is not a striker, though he is a good player. I think Ramos link is dead as Real don't want to sell.

2.) 19 Jul 2015 09:28:26
The spark in paper talk about Pedro will likely be because of the belief that ADM is leaving.
I see this morning we are linked with bale again, again probably wishful thinking.

3.) 19 Jul 2015 10:49:45
No chance of Bale IMO, if we let ADM go, then I like the idea of Pedro to replace him.

4.) 19 Jul 2015 13:09:29
Pedro to replace di Maria?

Not a chance, who in their right mind would see any sense in that. I don't rate Di Maria very highly but pedro? He's fast and that is it. Certainly not a better option than di Maria, and very much like Navas IMO, very little end product.

5.) 19 Jul 2015 13:14:34
Looks like Pedro will end up at chelsea if you look at the barca page

6.) 19 Jul 2015 13:05:58
Perron would be excellent signing: goal scoring right winger we need (memories also of Kanchelskis)

Stable of fast attacking wingers would suit LvG (Depay, Young, Januzaj, Valencia) plus attacking full backs. Think Di Maria will leave. Won't be so much pressure to track back and defend as much stronger midfield.

Think Mata would be main casualty. I'd push Herrera further forward - could develop similar to Scholes.

Would need striker to put all chances away though.

7.) 19 Jul 2015 13:48:18
RedDon, nobody compared Di Maria and Pedro. Just saying that is a good option if Di Maria goes. And maybe you haven't watched Pedro enough to know he is a very good player, better than Valencia and Young in attacking manner.

8.) 19 Jul 2015 15:14:02
Or maybe I just don't see what I want to see, rather what it is actually showing. Not one game have I watched and thought he stood out. Fair enough he will be outshined by players such as Messi and Neymar but with the game time he did get before the purchases of Neymar and Suarez, he hasn't impressed. To be honest he would have been sold before Sanchez if he wasn't a barcelona boy.

Pedro is a good player, but with Mata, Di Maria, Depay, Januzaj and Young as wing options he really isn't needed.

And if Di Maria was to leave I would hope United had somebody in mind to replace him of a higher calibre than Pedro. Bale, Griezmann or Reus for example.

9.) 19 Jul 2015 15:49:36
Didn't he score against us in the champions league final?

10.) 19 Jul 2015 16:35:35
I am with RedDon on this , if ADM goes then we should be look to Bale, Griezman or Reus ( especially if we are looking at Lewandowski and put them together again) and not Pedro. I would rather give Pereira time than buy Pedro if ADM leaves. We need goals and a dangerous striker not a Barca reserve

11.) 19 Jul 2015 16:50:04
Pedro who under Peps Barca probably the best football team ever played week in week out and was fantastic. Unselfish team player who can play the pressing game and play right across the front 3 and for about £20 million. Yeah don't rate him either.

12.) 19 Jul 2015 19:43:09
First player to score in 6 domestic competitions, first player to score in 4 consecutive games for barca but no end product? Very odd statement

13.) 19 Jul 2015 20:15:18
What is more odd is that you chose to put words in my mouth. I said very little not no. You could put Gabriel Obertan in that pep side and expect him to get goals.

14.) 19 Jul 2015 20:36:40
No/very little the point still stands. he's been at barca since he was a teenager I don't think pep being manager improved his ability to score goals. If he wasnt sat behind messi suarez and neymar i'm sure he would still be hitting the goals as he was before which I think was 1 in every 2. What would you say your rationale is to say he has very little end product?

15.) 20 Jul 2015 01:53:29
If you had a list top ten underrated players I would have no doubt Pedro would b one of them he knows where the goal is u can guarantee at least 10 goals a season not bad for a winger

{Ed001's Note - you surely mean over rated not under right?}

14 Jul 2015 14:55:21
Just read reports Otamendi has refused to return to training with valencia

1.) 14 Jul 2015 15:38:09
And apparently we are hoping to sign him for less than his release clause(£36mill) - If we get him for anything from 30million or less then that's a great result!

2.) 14 Jul 2015 16:21:19
reports aid he's still on holiday, due back shortly so how do reporters know he isn't going back to Valencia? total rubbish, he will go back and train and you will sign him for his realise clause

3.) 14 Jul 2015 16:51:07
Pretty sure players get holidays after the copa america, that's why he's not at training

4.) 14 Jul 2015 17:29:22
I didn't say he's not at training i said he has refused to return, to return to somewhere you need to be away ie on holiday

5.) 14 Jul 2015 17:33:02
yeah he in vacation but the report saying that he asked to sell his properties and cars in spain its really funny this kind of rumours

10 Jul 2015 19:47:29
Evening Eds

I tried posting on the euro page but it didn't work.

What is the current position on Cavani being sold? Are PSG still actively looking to sell and are we amongst the clubs interested?

{Ed004's Note - Psg were trying to include him in a deal for Pogba however it looks like the player will stay there next season}

1.) 11 Jul 2015 09:52:22
Cheers 004 was starting to think i'd said something wrong in this post ha

{Ed004's Note - It was just being held for me to answer when I got online}

So with 3 n a half hours to go I think its safe to say it will be difficult to get anybody processed in time and it looks like no more will be coming through the door until January. Its going to be a long 4 months i think.

1.) 01 Sep 2015 15:13:22
My belief is that the goal this summer was to cut the wage bill, and remove any players who aren't central to LVG's plans. This leaves our squad in a very precarious position because we don't have the depth to cover injuries in a few key areas. Martial is the big mystery, and it's very strange for us to be paying so much for such an unproven player.

Alternatively, I'm sure Blind can cover our lack of depth if push comes to shove.

2.) 01 Sep 2015 15:39:22
Correct it would be extremely difficult to get anybody processed mainly because they are not trying to, we are done now and if you think that we are suddenly going to go out in January and sign top players you are clearly deluded.

3.) 01 Sep 2015 15:40:01
giggs and scholes will be getting re-registered at this rate.:)

4.) 01 Sep 2015 15:41:15
All i saw on sunday was blind being pushed and shoved by gomis

30 Aug 2015 23:16:33
No more beating round the bush, if we stick with rooney we will be finishing outside of the top 5. Not being negative its a statistical

1.) 30 Aug 2015 23:37:44

25 Aug 2015 21:08:56
So fellaini is the surprise striker after all. and by bigger targets woodward meant literally

1.) 25 Aug 2015 21:16:45
Also fulfils the criteria of 'not the one the press are talking about'

2.) 26 Aug 2015 08:41:53
Woodward never said anything about "bigger targets"

3.) 26 Aug 2015 09:51:46
maybe he was referring to fellani's height

19 Aug 2015 13:18:53
Hold onto your I hate woody cards ppl, something is brewing.

1.) 19 Aug 2015 13:44:59

2.) 19 Aug 2015 13:55:19
Nothing is brewing, the club just decided that the fee was too much and Chelsea decided to match it that's all.

3.) 19 Aug 2015 16:15:01
Ok Tot we shall see

17 Aug 2015 17:42:15
Sorry my last post was a duplicate of someone elses. So I will try again to bring something new to the table 😂

Evans is apparently not training with squad and utd have refused to give a reason.

Could he be Everton bound as part of a deal for stones?

1.) 17 Aug 2015 18:47:10
Or just going to Everton?

Not every transfer has another player involved. Stones looks to be Chelsea bound.

2.) 17 Aug 2015 18:49:59
I struggle to see where Stones fits in unless he will be played left sided CB; but isn't he a right footer?

3.) 17 Aug 2015 20:53:07
Stones is already better than Smalling, if we sign Stones we will sell either Smalling or Jones. Stones will be a top top player you can be assured of that. Ask 025 his opinion of Stones, also look at the difference he made when he came back in after Christmas.

4.) 17 Aug 2015 22:58:42
Weggy nobody said every transfer has to be I was talking about this one. "Stones looks to be Chelsea bound" based on your inside knowledge? Or just reading the papers?

How on earth has LVG managed to scrape through his career without these pearls of wisdom
