I imagine semedo for the right back position, 002 are we actively looking at left backs also? Seems Mr Mourinho doesn't rate shaw. Thanks for the reply anyway Ed.

A player under mentioned on the site, Darmian. Whether he will be kept or not is yet to be seen however he has kept his mouth shut when not played and on the bench. Hasn't set the world a light but has put a decent shift in a couple times this season. Although I do think he will be sold, it would be a shame he never fulfilled the potential he had.

Also mentioned that there was a lot of interest in Fabinho (Monaco) but he would not leave in Jan so if no RB in Jan then he may be an option for the summer with Semedo being the other option.

Thanks for the reply and info 001. I would hope United are interested in that case, seems keen and a great player. No stupid figures being being banded around. Would be a shame to see him go elsewhere in the premiership. I thought Arsenal had him pretty much tied up by all accounts.

Do you see this as something that could happen? Dortmund have come out and said they won't sell him. Just posturing to get him to make a transfer request and give up on the loyalty bonus? Posturing to get a better transfer fee? Or a genuine determinatiom to hang on to him due to fan pressure? The last time they forced a player to stay against his will it was Lewandowski and they had to give him a massive pay rise to do so.
They already have Ousmane dembele who seems a like for like replacement too.
What is your opinion?

It's amazing how many United fans underestimate the appeal of the club to very good players. We can't sign all of them though and the squad is well stocked in his position.

Looking at Dortmund formations it looks like he has been played in most positions left, right, behind striker and as striker!
Sounds ideal for Mourinho who likes a fluid 3 behind the striker.

Whilst I don't doubt that Mkhitaryan wants to join United because of the clubs standing, it is also likely due to the fact that Utd are probably one of the few clubs that would be willing to match his wage demands.

26m for Mkhitaryan is a good bit of business IMO. Considering Mane is going to cost the scousers 30m.
Zlatan in next to go along with Bailly and Micky. Another CB and a CM and I think the league is winnable. Exciting times ahead. The only problem I have with signing Pogba is the amount. Sure it's not my money but 100m for somebody who left for less than 1 doesn't seem good business for me.

With the amount of space dier has had on the ball I think Carrick could and should have been taken to play that role too. Not over Dier as he's played excellent.

Guardiola will probably add one full back at least to that 4 you mentioned ed004.
They are all very good players especially sane who is going to be special just like martial.
But the optimist in me hopes they'll take time to settle in and we might be able to take advantage of the big upheaval. Might be a window where we only sign a couple of stellar players.

Impressive on paper Ed but Laporte and Gundogan both have serious enough injuries to recover from. Still heavily reliant on Aguero staying fit.

It would be a fantastic window Ed. That's why I hope we have our finger on the pulse. I would be very disappointed if we weren't interested in kroos. I believe moyes was close to signing him before his move to Madrid. Also remember that it was guardiola that sold kroos to Madrid.
I really hope we have a successful window. One that really shows our intent.

Both teams underperformed.
Both teams need to re-tool at least 3 key positions.
I will take bets on it with anyone regardless what the bookies say but City will not win the league in 1617.

If City start next season with Gundogan, Kroos, Laporte and Sane - I can't not see them winning the league and would fancy them in Europe too.
They're still weak on the flanks but have a lot of quality through the middle of the park.

I think the point of it is, we would like everybody to be held to the same standard. I don't think anybody really believes the FA is against us, but i would hope they throw the book at Wenger on this one. Not acceptable in my eyes. Refs and officials have it hard, although some of the prem refs are awful.

The very same league Chicharito came from PG. He didn't turn out too bad did he? From what I have seen of the lad he's a decent player, quick and has some end product unlike Lingard. Might be a good option as backup as he can play both wings. Can't see Lingard staying longer than a season. Not a mourinho type player for me.

Beast you are so blinkered. Bellerin is a good shout, but walker is just pace. Coleman of two seasons ago maybe. Not now. The fact that your using Valencias good performances to put down the rest of the squad just proves everyone's point. You've definitely got a chip on your shoulder about the team this season. We lose, not happy. We win, still not happy. No pleasing some. Onwards and upwards. Still in the battle for top 4 with a solid chance. Very good chance of progressing to semis of Europa and an efl cup in the bag. Not a bad season so far.

Kane likes to drift wide? Hardly, I know he drops deep sometimes but for me he's a player who should be staying up top. However not a player I think who we will target, nor would he leave. Griezmann and Lacazette are the ideal players for me. Both can play centrally or drift wide. Scary front 3 if you ask me, hopefully we can see them together at the Euros.
