Ed/ s are we looking to renewing our i interest in renato Sanches. I said at the start of this season that even tho he had gone to Bayern, United would still be monitoring him closely to see how he progresses and how he get some on.

Speculation has come out in the last couple of weeks that Bayern aren't completely happy with his adaptation this season and as recently as yday, he has 'liked' a few UnitedHealth pics on insta after the Europa win!

{Ed002's Note - Renato Sanches has been a disaster and Bayern Munich they could mug some club in to buying him they would - they are trying to get a replacement in. The player has not coped with the cultural change at all - Manchester United got lucky last year. There has been an approach to Juventus and to Napoli about him.

I am not sure that social media is the best judge of Manchester United interest in a player.}

Thank you ed, much appreciated :D Also you're most likely right about that, doesn't mean anything lol. I wouldn't mind him at United tbh, Germany's not too different From UK in terms of weather but I really do think he would find it a lot easier to adapt to the premier league and British weather. His direct style of play, his speed n power box to box screams the English way of football. Hopefully he gets over his homesickness!

{Ed002's Note - Personally the weather in Munich and Manchester is not dissimilar. The culture is very different. There are language issues either way. I am not aware of any homesickness. One can move country to country and slot right in - the more cultural issues there are the bigger the deal - weather, food, drink, society, religion - and in the case of Manchester he would need to deal with the grim, wet and cobbled streets Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change, smog, dead & dying pit ponies laying on the street and only chips and fried curry to eat.}

Dead and dying pit ponies are easy to adjust to. However, RS, has been a disaster in Germany and unless he was going for a song we should not touch him with a barge pole!

Ed, have Jose and United shown any interest in modric? Also is Griezmann coming in the summer? Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - (a) No. (b) There is no agreement where or when Griezmann will move.}

The one major flaw during every manager's teams, post SAF, is a distinct lack of pace. The build up play is far from fluid which gives teams the chance to refoerm, usually two banks of four. Coupled with that, this year ibra drops deep way too early and there aren't runners going past or in behind so the plays break dowN in the final third or a host of snatched chances at best. I think we have the personnel to fix it albeit a load better with a couple of tweaks but Pogba has to stop fannying around and move the ball forward without the showboating, Miki has obvious pace as Rashford but the only guy with a decent cross rate is valencia so an obvious candidate to shed some timber and work on crosses would be shaw. All in all its a load better than sideways LVG style play but at this time I am more likely to bet on not scoring than anything.

Do Mazio reporting Morata n Mbappe are our first 2 choices ahead of Griezmann. any truth to this ed/ s and does this mean Griezmann won't becoming to United if we sign Moratta? Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained over and over the situation.}

1.) 31 May 2017 17:25:00
Quick search for Morata.

{Ed002's Note - A player Mourinho likes, but not at this time. }

Quick search for Mbappe.

{Ed002's Note - The player wants to move to Real Madrid. }

Quick search for Griezmann.

(Ed002's Note - The release clause is of no relevance. Manchester United are keen. Chelsea had concerns and stepped back. Eventually Manchester United will understand why Chelsea stood back. I expect him to stay one more season in Madrid as it stands right now or they will pay way over the odds. }

The information is all there.

Sorry ed, silly season creeping in!

Something of interest I've just seen, Chelsea are 17 points better of from last season and United are 7 points worse off from last season 😂 Chelsea haven't improved on there squad much at all compared to us either 😐 We've problems, and we need to stick with Mourinho for more than 2 seasons, but in that time we're probably be asking for top 4 at most.

Also does any one else hate Mourinhos Pressers? I find him really unnerving and never look forward to them. It's like an interrogation most of the time!

1.) 27 Nov 2016 20:56:41
We had 27/ 39 points last season? Jesus that means we got 39/ 78 points in the rest of that season.

Secondly press conferences are pointless, because firstly print/ mainstream media as an entity is on its last legs, so i don't see why any of those "journalists" need to be asking questions every week.

They need to spruce them up in some way by either making them open to the public or taking questions off of social media or let someone different from the club speak each week.

2.) 27 Nov 2016 22:15:57
The Jose factor, it was in a couple of weeks time he lost his job at Chelsea last year. He needs to correct his record soon. I bet if you add up his last 38 EPL results it wouldn't make for a good position in total.

Ed002, good to see you're back enlightening us with your knowledge 02👍🏽 The recent rumours of Griezmann to replace Rooney, is there a chance we may be in for him? I know you have mentioned Chelsea as real contenders for his signature, but with Pogba now at the club, Depay not getting playing time and evidentially Rooneys time now possibly up, will we see Griezmann coming to us? I do feel that RW spot is his in the long run! I've wanted Griezmann for a while, I would take him ahead of Bale and even Neymar. Just my personal preference.

{Ed002's Note - It is speculation. Mourinho would like Griezmann but there are others also keen and others who have made a great deal of progress in discussions. There is also the impending ban and an issue with CAS that need to be considered.}

1.) 16 Oct 2016 14:37:21
Thanks for clearing that up Ed002, much appreciated!

2.) 16 Oct 2016 17:21:01
With the ban coming i personally don't see greizmann being sold next summer at least.

3.) 16 Oct 2016 22:14:46
If Simeone leaves, so will Griezmann.

Dirk Kuyts comments on Pogba being verbally loud towards his fellow team mates and aspecially in the dressing room at half time. was working so I've only watched some highlights, but can anyone explain who he may have been targeting in particular? Also kuyts comments about a United having only one way of manoeuvring was totally on the money! Don't let us counter and you've got the upper hand.

19 Sep 2016 00:57:53
kens got me In stitches 😂 The fact we look like the time from last yr, shows me there's a deeper underlying problem within the team. Could be Rooney or could be the identity has been shattered since SAFs departure and As of yet, still not been sorted. we have no stability going forward or defending as it seems. Atleast last season we had some stability at the back for a bit but right now, the team looks lost and there doesn't seem to be an easy route back, even with the summer signings. I do believe Carrick has been missed tho. He adds more strength sitting infront of the back 4 compared to Pogba and Fellaini. The problem I'm finding with them 2 is, both go up an attack and leave a lot of space behind them. With Carrick, he would sit back there, just infront of the CBs, dictating, playmaking and mostly intercepting!

you don't pay 80M world record fee, for someone that's just a solid squad player. he is a good player at best who was well overpriced due to his nationality.

As good as Sanchez is, he hasn't shown himself to be completely a team player. I've watched and wanted Sanchez when he was at Udinese and he should've been our replacement for CR7, but his attitudes while at Arsenal has been atrocious. We already have Martial that sulks for us and you've seen how Mourinho has handled him. Do people think Sanchez would be a good fit for us under Mourinho?

We should really be looking at Lewandowski or Cavani. Both of them powerful and have the ability to get you a goal from no where and both of them also clinical in front of goal. Benzema should be an option, it depends if Real buy Mbappe I think, then Benzema may be on the way out.
Dybala would be another option for me too, he's got it all and I would want him ahead of Morata n Mbappe.

Jred, DI Marzio came with this yday. Griezmann was only 3rd pick and now everyone is reporting Griezmann isn't priority at all but still a target. The same sort of information but Di Marzio mentioned it first. Around 10oclock this morning ballague and a lot of others where having there opinion on AM ban, with a lot of them saying the exact same thing as balague, and that was all United need to do is activate clause which they are happy to do.

Few hrs later, a hear say article has hit on BBC about how Griezmann is no longer Priority with Moratta lukaku n other players being ahead of him. coincedently very similar to Di marzio yday!

Roller coaster and no one knows where it's stoppin!

AJH was going to say the same thing!

Aged 6 in 99 but I grew up adoring Ole to the point I was full on teary eyed when he announce his retirement. Oles also only ever played for the badge (The time he got a red card for stopping another team getting us on the counter being the last man) baby faced assassin for a reason. I'd say you would've had to have grown up around them times to understand why OGS is and will always be a club legend. Ahead of RVN and RVN scored hell of goals for us. Imo RVN doesn't even come close to the legendary status of our Solskjaer. #ThatNightInMunich #AndSolskjaerHasWonIt.

Coutinho is the real deal in that team! They have a few ballers but Coutinho adds a different shine on to them, dare I say it but he is the Worldie of that team . Can is brilliant for Klopp, Llalana is playing like a Spanish maverick and Mane is just too powerful against any defender who is just about average, and people underestimate how good of a player Wijnaldum (spelling) actually is, Captaining PSV to a league win at 23. But we've already played them and we didn't look like a team ten steps behind them either, I think our team is finally showing signs of gelling with a run of wins now, and hopefully we will be too strong for them now considering we didn't do too bad against them at there ground and playing a lot better since then.

On Zlatan, Heaton made some impressive and nearly impossible saves today. If Ibra carrys on that attacking edge from today, even though it was glimpses, I'm sure he'll get a few goals hopefully sooner rather then later!
