What a crazy crazy race ed!

{Ed001's Note - it was insane, I have never seen anything like it.}

Mercedes and FIA need wind Hamiltons neck in somewhat. He’s going over the top with that T shirt. Not the place for it. He’s on company time.

{Ed001's Note - are you for real? That is exactly the place for it. It is you that should be winding your neck in if anything. I am disgusted anyone would have a problem with it.}

Ed002, sorry mate but it's not the place. I support it, but not in the way he does it.

{Ed001's Note - so you mean a place where he has suffered racism is not the place for him to take a stand against racism? It is very much the place in the most middle-class white-dominated sport in the world to make a point and remind them of basic human rights. I can't understand how anyone can not see that it is not a political issue to want basic human rights for all people regardless of colour of skin, religion or any other thing that is used to keep one portion of society downtrodden.}

I’m sorry, but these are the most outrageous two posts I’ve seen on here. “Wind his neck in”? Why does he need to do that? Why is it not the place for it? And the bs that you support “it” but it’s just no the place for it is laughable! It’s always the place for it, he has done nothing wrong he wore a T-shirt, he is a black man in a sport where there are not many or any. Good on Lewis Hamilton and he gets my support 100%. HE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG.

Sorry but he lost my support when he had the word Slave written across him earlier this year. Models for Hugo Boss, drives for Mercedes - both took prisoners out of SS death camps and used them as unpaid labour. Guy needs a reality check. Cops killed the woman Ms Taylor and they should face consequences -they believed her partner had a gun -terrible tragedy. Keep politic out of sport -NFL has seen that last week, will be the same in UK once crowds are allowed back in. all very well kneeling and giving a black power salute in any empty stadium, different when there's a crowd.

{Ed001's Note - it is not politics to want basic human rights, it is because of people like you calling it such that people are still able to withhold them from some because of the colour of their skin. Hugo Boss and Mercedes are not the same companies as they were in the 1930s and 1940s! You can't punish people for the sins of their ancestors or every single person in the world would be locked up. Hamilton might very well need a reality check, but you clearly need far more of one before you comment on these matters. Clearly they need to keep kneeling because otherwise the closet racists will carry on whining about politics being in sport to hide the fact they just don't give a toss because it doesn't affect them.}

Wow, youve made some sweeping assumptions there. If you think its a good thing to have sportsmen and women -most of whom are socially unaware -kneeling in a sporting arena then you are welcome to your opinion as I am to mine. With regards to me commenting on these matters you might want to reel in your assumptions of my experience in such matters.

{Ed001's Note - well clearly you are not a professional sportsman who has suffered from racism throughout his career are you? So you are in absolutely no position to criticise someone who has for his right to protest about racism. As for sweeping assumptions, did I once say I was referring to you? No but you are assuming I am, which probably says a lot more than anything I could have said.}
