Watching England and how Ben Godfrey is ahead of AWB in Southgates thinking is beyond me.

{Ed014's Note - being a RB isn’t just about being good in one on ones mate.

Not saying he won’t be first choice come the start of the comp but AWB still has a lot to learn.

I agree that AWB has lots to learn and I wish Gary. Neville or Irwin tutored him but right now he looks miles better than Gidfrey.

{Ed014's Note - not seen anything of Godfrey before so no idea how good or bad he is but most of England’s problems today are down Shaws side.

All a bit of a waste to be honest with Southgate at the helm.

Godfrey is a CB, he’s only playing there tonight because Walker and James aren’t available yet and TAA got injured.

I can understand picking a more attacking fullback ahead of AWB, or even two of them.

What I can't understand is bringing 3 or 4 Right backs who are all more attacking options. Surely, if you are bringing 3 or 4 right backs, you bring a couple of attacking types, and you bring AWB so that you have something a bit different should it be needed. Having him would at least offer the option of sacrificing a bit in attacking play to shut down someone like Mbappe.
