With Anderson, Hernandez, Young & Kagawa getting little game time and all possible sales in the near future. Who would people replace them with? I think Januzaj has pretty much already replaced Young. I would like to see Herrera replace Anderson. Sadly this leaves two players who I wouldn't want the club to sell. However if they are sold I would like to see one player replace them both. I would go all out for Draxler.

In the defence I would replace Evra with Coentrao/Baines and Rio with Garay/Subotic then I think I would be happy with the business. Personally I do not see this much activity happening between now and September, but it's what I would want the club to do if these were the players who are going to leave.

Baines, Subotic, Herrera, (Januzaj), (Powell), Draxler in.

Evra, Rio, Anderson, Young, Kagawa & Hernandez out.

All this players would be a massive boost to the squad. But it we'll depend on how much money can we make from the sales, since I don't think we have money for Herrera and Draxler in the same year. In fact all this 4 player would cost around 110Mil.

Unless we make a 40-50mil on sales, I can't see it happening.

2.) 09 Oct 2013
I would add gundogan

3.) 09 Oct 2013
I would rather have Gundogan than Herrera and Zouma and Garray replacing Rio.

4.) 09 Oct 2013
Gundogan instead of Herrera certainly wouldn't be a kick in the teeth.

Nick86 - Young, Anderson, Kagawa & Hernandez with Evra & Ferdinand off of the wage bill would easily raise £40m-£50m.

Jred

Gundogan would be the best option. The cost could be as much as Herrera and he's by far better option.

6.) 09 Oct 2013
Gundogen, Subotic, Januzaj, Rues and try for Shaw or Coentroa. Granted it would be a very expensive Spree but wouldn't it be amazing.

7.) 09 Oct 2013
Although Kagawa looks likely to leave, I think it would be a mistake to sell at least him until Rooney's future is resolved. I know I probably sound like a broken record, but we still haven't seen Kagawa get a run of games in his best position. I am sure there will be opportunities for him to play there either through injuries or suspensions to Rooney or RVP. Or even through poor form from either of those two, which is currently a real possibility.

8.) 09 Oct 2013
I agree with you Sydney to some extent but in areas I disagree. Mainly, I don't know if Draxler will be looked at or is necessary, its unlikely.

I would like to see us either modernise the 4-4-2 and make it more of a 4-2-2-2. And I would also like us to play a 4-3-1-2. These two shapes best fit our squad.

To be honest, I can see all of our left backs leaving. Buttner isn't happy, Fabio says he is looking to leave and Evra is piss poor. Rio's time is up, Anderson probably also. Young is a goner as far as I am concerned. Kagawa & Hernandez will probably leave also, Kagawa will get a chance though I hope.

The first think I would do is get rid of the aforementioned players. I would then look to promote from within. Straight away we can call up Henriquez to be our 4th striker, we could call up Blackett (maybe/maybe not). Lingard can come straight up into the first team squad and so can Powell.

So with Januzaj, Lingard, Henriquez, Powell & Blackett we would have some 'back-up' and first team options. We could also look at the Keane's, Varela and Vermijl. We have to make better use of those from within and then strengthen outwardly more sensibly.

If we promoted the above we could then focus on 3 or 4 first class players. Personally I would go for Baines but we will end up with Coentrao. I'd go for Subotic. I'd go for Gundogan but we will get Herrera and then maybe one more like Barkley.

Realistically then we could do:

Promote: Januzaj, Powell, Henriquez, Lingard & Blackett with Keane's, Varela and Vermijl getting games.

Out: Fabio, Buttner, Evra, Anderson, Rio, Young, Kagawa, Hernandez.

In: Coentrao, Subotic, Herrera, Barkley.

9.) 09 Oct 2013
Out: Anderson, Rio, Young, Anderson, Buttner, Rooney.

Phase Out: Vidic, Carrick

In: Coentrao, Lars Bender, Herrera / Draxler, Barkley.

10.) 09 Oct 2013
Out: Lindegaard (£3mil), Rio, Vidic (£5mil), Evra (£2mil), Buttner (£3mil), Nani (£15mil), Young (£7mil), Carrick, Rooney (£35mil), Hernandez (£12mil).

That's over £80mil in fees and God knows how much in wages.

Bring in the youth players like Henriquez, Powell, Lingard & Blackett and also:

Konoplyanka (£30mil), Herrera (£30mil), Papadopolous (£20mil), Shaw (£18mil), Gundongan (£30mil).

Obviously very rough guesses, but around £130MIL outlay. So a net spend of £50mil, we also then save on wages as the players are all young and won't command anywhere near what our current players get/expect. Also we aren't raping one club of all their players, Dortmund (Reus, Subotic, Gundogan eg).

That's what I hope happens in the Winter/Summer.

I don't think moyes would go big for the likes of gundogan/reus. To be honest I can see him going for someone alright and trying to go back to the Everton days. Someone like Morgan schneiderlin and maybe James tomkins. That's the calibre of player I imagine moyes being able to lure. as much as I'd love the most discussed to come

12.) 09 Oct 2013
I am getting a little worried about all the people saying we should sign sub subotic and garay. What we need in central defence is a little pace and both are slow. Since rio and vidic have lost their pace we continually get exposed at the back. I would want a more mobile cb. As to who I am not sure, but I don't think subotic and garay are the answer.

13.) 09 Oct 2013
Reus and draxler will go to the highest bidder for silly money can't see it being us unfortunately

14.) 09 Oct 2013
Love the way that Alt hates Anderson so much they want him out twice!

I agree with the point that we can't lure the biggest of the big to our club because as of right now which world class playwr would actually want to come to us? And don't say we are Manchester United the PL champions etc. because the aura of playing for our club has been lost now that Sir Alex has left and the days of playing attractive football are long gone I'm afraid to say and now we will play with a much more defensive mindset under Moyes like he's done with Everton
Players such as James Tomkins and Darron Gibson are the types of players we will be aiming for from now on as our pulling power for players is gone and it's not coming back anytime soon
No matter how much money we would ever have or how much we are lacking there we will not and I repeat WILL NOT buy that world class midfielder we are craving because that's not what our club is about they like to build up youngsters and sell them on for profit and the process starts all over again
So we can forget about signing the likes of Gundogan and Draxler and concentrate on getting in players like Leon Osman or Steven Davis

"Out: Lindegaard (£3mil), Rio, Vidic (£5mil), Evra (£2mil), Buttner (£3mil), Nani (£15mil), Young (£7mil), Carrick, Rooney (£35mil), Hernandez (£12mil)."

I think you've missed a few if the first team squad out there mr. We may not be "raping" any of the other teams, but we'd be stripping ours back to Evans, Jones and Terry the masseur.

17.) 10 Oct 2013
Dodgy Banter - it's what it needs in my opinion. Lindegaard is replaced by Amos. Rio, Evra & Vidic are not good enough for a fast flowing game (certainly won't be next season), neither will Carrick be. Hernandez & Buttner never play, Rooney wants to play elsewhere and we can free up some cash, Young & Nani are rubbish.

With the signings and yougsters coming in that I have indicated, RVP, Kagawa, Zaha, Janujaz, Anderson, Fellaini, Rafael, Jones, Smalling, Evans, Fabio, Welbeck, De Gea, we will have an awesome team and great squad depth, not to mention a team in place for the next 10 years (give or take a couple).

18.) 10 Oct 2013
Draxler on the left is as a sure thing you will get. Janusaj actually prefers to play on the right side and those 2 to me sort out our wings, if Janusaj turns out to be the real thing, Draxler is the real thing.

Midfield

If we were ever to push the boat out for a player and spend there is no one better than Vidal, Forget, Bender, Pogba, Gundogan as Vidal has all the parts. You can pair him up with quite a few midfielders out there and we are set, Verrati being my first choice.

Whilst pogba can't shut his mouth and feels like he is entitled and the world owes him something Vidal is the player for Juve is what makes juve tick and if you watch enough of them you can see that.

Left back is difficult as you will not find may great ones and they are generally not available, so Coentrao is probably the bets option out there.

Center back is a difficult one as Smalling and Jones are yet to convince and need to play agains top quality opposition to know if they can consistently to the job.

I love Varrane and think he will the best CB in the world in a few years and if you want to build a back four around a player Varrane is the guy for me.

Pay top dollar for Varrane, Vidal, Draxler and the rest will work itself out given our guys coming through and what we already have.
