Why not hold out on announcing the new kit deal until we finished our transfer activity or at the very least our big money transfers?

Massive Financial deals like that need to be announced due to the regs on the NYSE I think.

Would also give confidence to potentials like Hummels & Vidal that we are going to have the means to invest continuously. So no worries about a lack of CL football.

Given that we won't start seeing any of the money for 12 months I don't see why it makes any difference. It's not like selling a player for £75m before lining up replacements and then having to pay an extra £5m per player. THAT would be stupid.
