Mr Vidal has just come out and said he would not move to Manchester this was one player I really wanted at united.

That's not actually what he said. He was ambushed at the airport by a journo and whatever he said has been quoted, misquoted, taken out of context. He certainly said nothing definitive.

After doing a bit of research I have gathered that these questuons were asked at the airport repeatedly.

Vidal simply said I will b speaking to Allegri on monday and the quote at the end which says " I will not be going to manchester" is fake.

Another way to look at it is that he is saying he is not travelling to manchester from chile and just saying he's going home to juventus first to talk to manager and then make his decision. I hope I am right.

Syd that is right but the thing ill get worked up with is what's the point in negotiating for months when there is no bloody result. These kind of oppurtunity to snap players like him don't really come that often, Barca and Madrid are busy with other targets otherwise we wouldve found it even harder trying to get hold of him.

This is the best chance to get our mf sorted for next 5 to 6 years. In any case it doesn't stop us supporting our club if we don't land him but it would be great if we could snap him up.

Loll a liverpool fan coming on here talking about us being desperate. I would say Alan look at your own page and see how many times people have posted about you guys wanting a big name.

I have seen countless posts on your page stating are we getting reus vidal or pogba.

The only thing you guys are getting in terms of big name is size of the name.

GCU to be fair you have said on many occasions since the begining of the year that we will get shaw and you also said we will bid for Vidal so I am relyin on you that Vidal will be a red by the start of the season.

I ran into Shaw in Puerto Banus 3 weeks ago funny enough and he said that he wanted the move since he was informed in Jan that united were coming in for him. He is over the moon to be at the club. Around here people were posting as recently as may nonsense about he is a chelsea fan so he was not coming. His miss needs to learn how to dress though :)

Don't believe 90 percent off the names we are being connected to. Our summer business will finish with 2 more marque purchases and a squad purchase. Vidal will wear the red shirt.
