Rumours are we in a chase for the guy from Dortmund?

Bearing in mind he's 26?

Griezmann how ever is 24, just as good and 2 years younger for the same price?

I'd go Griezmann all day?

{Ed004's Note - What Dortmund player? We could do with both (assuming you're talking about Reus)}

I believe Ronnie is talking about Aubameyang and the new rumour bid of £60 million.

I would also go for Griezmann all day but I don't think neither of both would happen.

So at a time of great discontent and frustration, rumours come out about us spending lots of money on top players, who would have thought it?

{Ed004's Note - My point still stands we need 2 attacking players to complement Martial}

ronnie
have you seen either play or is it just an age thing.

Aubameyang is overrated, I don't see the hype about him at all.

Shane I agree for the prices being talked about he is I wonder if he was to cost say 20m would he be?

I'd take him as he has a lot of qualities we lack but for 60m no thanks.

Ed

I don't disagree with you but when most United fans are deeply unhappy suddenly nice warm rumours float around about buying top players. Perhaps somebody thinks fans will sit dreamily thinking about how we are going to buy such players instead of being totally frustrated with what is going on.

To me the total uncertainty around the club will more likely put players off signing until this horrendous mess is cleared up.

I think we need a new striker that can hold up the play and has some strength: Morata or Cavani are realistic options.

Martial's place on the left is guaranteed in my opinion. Then we need a new right sided player who scores goals also and is mobile: Griezmann. Ideally, the Atletico Director of Football comes in and brings Antoine with him.

Griezmann - Cavani - Martial would be formidable with Rooney dropping into space behind.
