Anyone open to signing Hart as replacement for DDG? I would but no bloody way at £30m!

Never. Not even if City were paying us to sign Hart from them.
If ot was me who would be making the choice then Donnarumma would be the one to replace DDG but I have a gut feeling we will sign Handanovic IF DDG leaves.

Free transfer and £50k a week.

As I said yesterday I would. English, experi need in the EPL, feisty. He may not be the very best GK but he would add to our level of experience and grit. I agree £30M is way too much, particularly for a player that appears to be unwanted where he is.

For those doubters, where do you think City would be if Hart had played this year instead of Bravo, would Hart have let every shot on target in? How Pep has got away with that is beyond me.

I wouldn't rule this out .
A few seemed no plus if ddg left might change there mind if Hart was the replacement.

Not very different from where they are ajh, yes bravo makes mistakes but hart is no different, his time at torino has not exactly gone well. If ddg will be sold and we replace him with mr. Head and Shoulders, this would be like replacing ronaldo with obertan. Wait we already tried that one didn't we.

Please no. Overrated keeper. Many others out there who are way above his level.

If it happens it will only bring us many problems in future games.

AJH, have you watched any of torinos games since he joined. If you have, I think you'd retract that.

Would be a dreadful signing. He's no better than Romero so want would be the point? I also don't think taking an 18 year old oitnif italy makes sense either.

Handanovic is the best option in my opinion.

Exactly AJH. I don't mind Hart for must be in our favor in terms of price and deal. If we are to overpay we might as well but a potentially better one. Hart is still good IMO. Just need to be a cost effective deal to us. He is still potentially England's #1 and will definitely play his heart out for us, especially if I foresee we will be a solid team next year. So I feel he will be a good replacement. ONLif he come cheap and not have too high a salary.

Big step backwards.

It does make a difference where he comes from, if we let go of derby animosity we end up seeing more passionless displays like we did on Thursday. We need some real 'Heart', not Hart!

666, take Hart because he is a cost effective solution. That's a ridiculous argument especially with the amount of money we have to spend. Surely you'd want to sign the best possible option.

If United wanted to be cost effective with their transfers, we'd sign many others before wed think of signing griezmann, kroos, fabinho so on and so forth.

Go watch a few of torinos games this season, let me know what you think of Hart then. Not to mention many a clanger he has made in the man city goal.

A terrible goalkeeper, buoyed by the English media. He should never have had replaced given when he did, and he certainly isn't England's best GK.

Why should he be considered as Uniteds No.1 is beyond me.

Please Eds, somebody back me up here!

{Ed025's Note - hart is a decent keeper in my eyes angel but hes certainly no de-gea mate..

No. Sorry but No.
Give me Schmeichel over Hart.

Mignolet might be available from what I hear. Worth a punt? Better than Hart.

{Ed025's Note - if hes not good enough for liverpool then why would he be good enough for united LJ?..
