Again, who are these people calling for Jose's head? I still only count one. Is any constructive criticism of his methods or tactics, now going to get people lumped in to an 'anti-Jose' group?

Stevie,

On the live chat it's quite bad, jaime seems to go on there to wind the rest of us up, I presume he's not actually a united fan or has some major issues but on here you are right, it's only Beast with the silliness. Beast has always made some good points within the hyperbole which is what makes him a better poster than Jaime but it does all feel a little Groundhog Day at the minute.

Anyone who thinks we haven't improved on last season I beg them to go and watch a game from last season then come back once they have woken up and let us know how it was.

I do go on it, lads, but I still only see Beast who's advocating a change of manager. I know Jaime is always ranting about something, but I don't really count him, as he's either 12 or a troll. And like you say, Beast argues his stance well, as opposed to just ranting about it. I'd hate to see this site become a place for nodding dogs only. Even as it is, you can't criticise anything José says or does, without getting a Red Man lecture in return. I just find this shoehorning of fans into certain groups, pro or anti-José, a little bit childish.

GDS 150 mn spent for going from 5th to 5th or 6th isn't really much improvement, whatever improvement in football we saw has been cancelled out by the fact that mourinho from time to time gets this urge to not even try to win matches.

People last season talked about how lvg football was not the utd way, i highly doubt what we saw at city and yesterday is either, those weren't bad performances or getting tactically outplayed, that was jose mourinho football at its purest, against city with 11 men we had our entire midfield play only in our half as if there was a force field that stopped us from crossing the halfway line, for most of yesterday a similar scenario with few changes given arsenal are a poorer team than city, but the fact still remained mourinho did not really try to attack for most of the game until we were 2-0 down.

Football as many on here said last season is about entertainment, you attack, and when you defend you counter attack. Against city or arsenal for most parts of the game, we did not even try to counter attack, that had nothing to do with players available or injured or on bench, mkhitarayan and martial were playing fullbacks against city for most of the game, against arsenal it was mata and mkhi, is this improvement.

I am not saying we haven't improved or that mourinho should be sacked, but let's not pretend that problems he faces are only personnel related, because even having ronaldo and messi in your team won't win you games if you set up the way we did at city. This is a mentality issue and mourinho needs to adjust it for us, we aren't chelsea or inter or porto, we are Man Utd, and much like at madrid he needs to learn that.

I want Mourinho to succeed and to be fair he's got the CV to back things up but why is he constantly so bloody miserable. He has a fantastic job, gets paid enormous amounts of money, good looking and well respected . No one wants you to become like that grinning goon over at the scouse but come on man cheer up!

Agree with StevieK. Apart from Jamie and beast, no one is calling for Jose to be sacked. We're merely saying he and the team can do better. I think more positivity in the way he approaches games and conducts press conferences might be a good start.
