Ed025 hope you are well mate.
Id like to hear your opinion on ddg sanchez pogba and lukaku. Do you think all will leave?
I can't see all 4 going myself.
But if ddg does go i'd like to see henderson given a chance in goal. Its high risk but i genuinely believe he will become englands no 1. Its a risk i'd be comfortable with.
I can see sanchez staying and improving considerably as he has been awful.
Lukaku it appears the writing is on the wall and pogba looks like he wants to be in the news all summer.
Your a straight talker and neutral so i'd love to hear what you think.
Cheers.

{Ed025's Note - in my view ken some major decisions have to be made, DDG will leave but i dont think thats one of utd,s biggest problems to be honest, his heart has not really been in it this season and its time for a change anyway, sanchez was great at arsenal and you dont become a bad player overnight, but he like many has a very poor attitude but the problem will be getting someone to take him, i suspect he will stay but if he does go united will be paying the majority of his wages, pogba is a very talented individual but has personality flaws, i think he will leave and that will be the best outcome for both him and utd, paul will do exactly what paul wants to do and does not subscribe to the team ethic which is what the successful utd teams have been built on in the past...and will need to do in the future, lukaku is a difficult one mate, he has the ability and will always score you goals but you have to play a certain way to get the best out of him, his first touch is awful ken and his strength is the ball over the top but united dont play that way, unless OGS changes the system he is of no use to utd other than an option from the bench, of course these are only my personal views mate but i think its a long haul back to the top and it may take longer than some think..

I agree with you there Ed, time for some to move on.

It will take a good few years to get back to the top, us old timers, well this old timer has the patience.

However times have changed, and no one has that anymore.

{Ed025's Note - your right jonny, most now are microwave supporters and are looking for instant success, this is not a quick fix mate and it could be quite a while before utd hit the dizzy heights they have done in the past..

Thanks ed025.
I agree on lukaku. He scores goals and will do well in the right set up.
I agree on ddg also. Its not our biggest problem.
Signings i'd like to see are the likes of bissaka maddison fernandes teilmans young hungry talented players that would embrace and have the ability to rise to the xhallenge. A strong cb would be ideal.
Raibot would be a good wild card option.
To be honest i'm more concerned about who leaves this summer. Unless we move on several players that contribute nothing we will be in trouble. The attitude stinks jose knew it there is no desire to be the best no desire to win and to make the sacrifices required to be winners. There no selflessness its all selfish.
Too many free loaders.

{Ed025's Note - unfortunately your spot on ken, my biggest worry is that im not sure OGS is ruthless enough or will have the power to sort this mess out..but i would love to be wrong mate..

I think he can be ruthless enough but i don't think he will be allowed to do what needs to be done.
Look after yourself ed025 good to see you on the page.
K.

{Ed025's Note - cheers ken..

If Ole is the right man he will have to be ruthless and pragmatic and if he is not supported by the board then he should resign and explain to everyone exactly what he wanted to do and how he was blocked. We don't need a yes man as our manager.

Great input ed025. You are spot on as always mate.

{Ed025's Note - cheers park, this is a massive window for utd mate and will ultimately define OGS as a manager, he has some big big decisions to make ...if he is allowed to make then of course..

OGS May turn out to be ruthless, or maybe some higher up will be too precious of their own positions and decisions. However I do not think OGS is the right manager, his tactical acumen and in game management is nowhere near good enough. We are careering down another wrong path.

Jose is ruthless, but turned out to be pretty toothless as his decisions were not backed. OGS can be as soft or as hard as he wants, but if he’s not backed by the powers that be then it’s all a waste of time.
