Some posters think it's bad that we haven't offered a sufficient fee that Sporting are looking for Fernandes.

Yet, as a club we've knocked back offers from Inter as they haven't been sufficient offers.

Players have certainly become overvalued by teams.

Even Man City have backed off from players as they don't seem value in what the selling club want for the player.

You can buy for buying sake. DI . aria is prime example.

If we pay a certain amount we are paying over the odds, if we don't pay a certain amount we are penny pinching.

I struggle to see what your point is?
The people we have in charge of transfers (im pretty sure its not all woodward) are inept. We are seemingly trying to buy the RIGHT players yet are going about it, in an embarrassing fashion.

Its not a case of penny pinching

Its bids that are laughable its wasting everyone's times.

Either your serious and want the player or why bother.

I’m sure we will get at least two more deals over the line within the next fortnight, maybe more depending on who leaves.

I’m interested to see how many CM’s we bring in as there’s every chance Pogba and Lukaku could leave after our transfer window closes.

Why is it embarrassing Sounthern Monkey?

Would you rather the club pay over the odds for every player?

To be honest lads the situation is difficult. We need to shift players its obviously not a bottomless pit of money.
The situation is being compounded by the window closing so far ahead of europe.

The subject about penny pinching and over paying to buy someone is a joke everyone that speaks of transfers contraindicated there self when they argue each way, our transfer method is laughable but we've all been guilty of wanting a player at what ever cost and we've all slated them for over paying our systems wrong but us as fans are the core of the problem.
