Hi everton fan here just wondering what do you all think of moyes now a third of the season gone?
Also how do you think you will get on against us
Thanks
1.) Well Moyes certainly hasn't covered himself with glory, nor gained many fans' trust.
By replacing the backroom staff he did too much too soon. He has yet to prove himself at United and doesn't have the credentials to do what he did imo.
He also has us playing boring football, relying even more on crossing and long balls, which is what fans did not want and Fergie only used as last resort.
His tactics have been average at best and the only thing we have going for us is being 7 points away from the leaders. It could have been much worse.
I do believe we have to wait for him to get the players he wants to be able to set up the team and make them play the way he wants.
But if we turn into a rich man's Everton, fans will be out for his head. He can win the champions league 5 years in a row for all we care ( exaggerating to make a point ), but historically Manchester United have been an attacking team playing eye catching football, and no result trumps that.
Hi everton fan in peace I think Powell would suit everton and would develop under Martinez have we shown any interest on him.
Thanks
{Ed001's Note - He would be good behind Lukaku or Traore, but Everton showed no interest in the summer. Mind that was with Martinez getting his feet under the table, and now he is out on loan for the season, he won't be moving for him right now anyway.
I do know that Martinez does speak to staff at Wigan a fair bit, to keep up with things and often asks how Powell is getting on. That is the only interest Everton have shown, but it is an indication he is keeping an eye open.}
