LFC supporter here in peace (as it should be) to congratulate you on this season. A fantastic achievement and very unlucky not to have gone further in the Champions League.
Sad to see Paul Scholes go, the player more than any other that I would have loved to have had at Anfield, even though it was never going to happen. An exemplary professional, the like of which we will be unlikely to see again. Despite being a United player, my favourite player in the modern era.
Finally, best wishes to Sir Alex, who despite much of the banter is respected and revered by all true football fans. I know that he was/is close to our old gaffer, Gerard Houllier, as was Sir Matt to both Bob Paisley and Shanks. If only all of our respective supporters could display the same mutual appreciation that these greats did and have done, the football would be a better place to be.
Good luck for next season. I think that you have chosen well and hopefully, we will be able raise our game to that of former times for our next meeting.
