Hello guys,
Whilst we all agree that jones has done terrific man marking in the last two games, his versatility, skill etc makes him an exciting prospect. But do you see him in the CB postion in the long term? In some ways i'm scared that he can become another O'shea.
Cheers
1.) I do, I think he'll be perfect to take over Vidic's role in the lon term, alongside either Evans or Smalling. He could still be used elsewhere in certain games. I'm glad he's versatile and can do a job in front of the defence but I would like to see him given more game time at CB to get used to the role.
2.) Even if Jones does turn out to be another O'Shea as you say he would be a much better version and very useful in the campaigns. That would be worst case scenario and hopefully won't happen as he has the potential to be an immense Vidic replacement and could form a phenomenal partnership with Smalling.
3.) If he comes away at the end of his career with as many medals as O'Shea, he'll not have done too badly.

No No and No. If he wants to move to England, he'd be rightly suited in london where there are legendary theaters that will appreciate the thespians performances.
