They did win 12 of the last 14 matches. 37 points collected of the possible 42. They won against City in a must-win match. They were poor against Palace and very unlucky to go behind against Chelsea. Chelsea and City also slipped in some of their crucial matches. Maybe because they couldn't handle the pressure?

DJ. I'm not sure if it is me that you are referring to. I do know he left the club. I am sure you will be fine, as I do not think he is at the level he was 2-3 seasons ago. That is probably also why he joined Inter and not Real Madrid.

RVP was one of the best strikers in the world. I would have taken Vidic 2 or 3 years ago, when he was a beast. He is not at the same level anymore and neither is RVP. That is probably why he has signed for Inter and not Real/PSG/Barca. I think RVP scored 9 in 18 matches. 2 of those were from pens. I am not saying he is no longer a good player, but he is certainly not at the level he was. You can not judge a players current level on what he has won in his career. Then we should sign Carvalho, Zanetti, Eto'o, Del Piero and Raul. I am not sure they are better than the players we have now.

I did not forget Kagawa or Rafael. I just do not think they are star players. Rafael is great offensively but struggling defensively. He makes some stupid decisions and struggles to keep calm. If Kagawa is world-class why hasn't a top team picked him up? He was out of the team for a long time and failed to deliver on a consistent basis.

Well I must apologize for being foolish. None of the players from Liverpool are good enough to enter the starting 11 of United bar Suarez. At least I now know, that your team is great and I now expect you to enter top 3 even if you do not sign anyone.

Sydney I tend to agree with you. But I still think Sterling and Sturridge are great individuals. I could say the same about United. Mata, Rooney and De Gea are great individuals. Van Persie also a good player, but not the player he was (maybe due to always being injured). Yes Liverpool is more or less the same team as last season but the youngsters and the team have improved. You do not have to buy players to improve.

Actually I am less biased than yourself mate. I did state that I think Mata, De Gea and Rooney would improve Liverpool. You do not seem to think that any of the Liverpool players would improve Utd. Not even a striker with 32 goals in 40 matches (if I remember it correctly).
